I know he went over to the somewhat spiritualist side, but his comments about conventional religion rock. From Bill Hicks;

Quote:

"Fundamentalist Christianity. Fascinating. These people actually believe the world is 12 thousand years old. Swear to God! Based on what? I asked them. "Well, we looked at all the people in the Bible, and we added them up all the way back to Adam and Eve, their ages – 12 thousand years." Well, how fucking scientific! Okay. I didn't know that you'd gone to so much trouble there. That's good. You believe the world's 12 thousand years old? "That's right." Okay, I got one word to ask you. A one word question. Ready? "Uh-uh." Dinosaurs.

You know, the world's 12 thousand years old and dinosaurs existed, and they existed in that time … you'd think it would have been mentioned in the fucking Bible at some point. "And lo, Jesus and the disciples walked to Nazareth.

But the trail was blocked by a giant brontosaurus … with a splinter in his paw. And O, the disciples did run a-shrieking: 'What a big fucking lizard, Lord!' But Jesus was unafraid, and he took the splinter from the brontosaurus's paw, and the big lizard became his friend. And Jesus sent him to Scotland where he lived in a loch for O, so many years, inviting thousands of American tourists to bring their fat fucking families and their fat dollar bills. And O, Scotland did praise the Lord: 'Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.'"

Quote:

"You ever notice how people who believe in creationism look really unevolved?"

Quote:

"A lot of Christians wear crosses around their necks. You think when Jesus comes back, he ever wants to see a fucking cross? Kind of like going up to Jackie Onassis with a rifle pendant on, you know."

Quote:

"I'm sorry if anyone here is Catholic. I'm not sorry if you are offended, I'm actually sorry – just the fact that you're Catholic.

Gotta be one of the most ludicrous fucking beliefs ever. Like these vampire priests sink their twin fangs of guilt and sin into you as a child and suck your joy of life out of you the rest of your fucking existence."

Quote:

"The whole image is that eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions God's infinite love. That's the message we're brought up with, isn't it? Believe or die! "Thank you, forgiving Lord, for all those options."

Quote:

"Christianity has a built-in defense system: Anything that questions a belief, no matter how logical the argument is, is the work of Satan by the very fact that it makes you question a belief. It's a very interesting defense mechanism and the only way to get by it – and believe me, I was raised Southern Baptist – is to take massive amounts of mushrooms, sit in a field and just go, "Show me."

Quote:

"A guy says, "I hate Jews," and I said, "Why?" He goes, "Because they killed my God." They believe that. If I believed that the Jews killed my God, I'd worship the Jews, 'cause shit, there's some badasses on that team, man. I haven't seen God ever, I see Jews all the time – go figure."

"The Christian god can easily be pictured as virtually the same god as the many ancient gods of past civilizations. The Christian god is a three headed monster; cruel, vengeful and capricious. If one wishes to know more of this raging, three headed beast-like god, one only needs to look at the caliber of people who say they serve him. They are always of two classes: fools and hypocrites." - Thomas Jefferson

"Christianity is the most ridiculous, the most absurd and bloody religion that has ever infected the world." - Voltaire

"Faith: not wanting to know what is true." - Friedrich Nietzsche (1844-1900)

"The being we call god is merely a pawn working for a powerful and rational force in some far-off galaxy. This force is trying to weed out people who are irrational by seeing who would be stupid enough to believe in his god illusion so easily. Those that believe in this illusion, he will send to eternal damnation and he will deliver the rational beings, those who stoically refused to believe in a god, go to heaven." - Nicholas Yee

"It's fair to say that the Bible contains equal amounts of fiction, mythology, and pizza." Penn Jillette

When Jesus Christ came upon the Earth, you killed Him. The son of your own God. And only after He was dead did you worship Him and start killing those who would not. — Tecumseh (You go great-great-great-great-etc. Grandpa!)

"How do I know the Bible isn't the word of God? Well if it was the word of God it would be clear and easy to understand considering God was the creator of LANGUAGE!" - Bill Hicks.

Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man -- living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do.. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! But He loves you.
-George Carlin

"The God of the Old Testament is arguably the most unpleasant character in all fiction: jealous and proud of it; a petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak; a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully." Richard Dawkins, The God Delusion

"Millions of innocent men, women, and children, since the introduction of Christianity, have been burned, tortured, fined, and imprisoned, yet we have not advanced one inch toward uniformity. What has been the effect of coercion? To make one half of the world fools and the other half hypocrites." [Notes on Virginia]

"History, I believe, furnishes no example of a priest-ridden people maintaining a free civil government. This marks the lowest grade of ignorance of which their civil as well as religious leaders will always avail themselves for their own purposes" [Letter to von Humboldt, 1813].

"In every country and in every age, the priest has been hostile to liberty. He is always in alliance with the despot, abetting his abuses in return for protection to his own" [Letter to H. Spafford, 1814].

"religion is a mental disease"-Benito Mussolini

Many people think they have religion when they are troubled with dyspepsia. Robert Green Ingersoll,

Is there an intelligent man or woman now in the world who believes in the Garden of Eden story, a talking snake? If you find any man who believes it, strike his forehead and you will hear an echo. Something is for rent.

Robert Green Ingersoll, "Orthodoxy" (1884)

If there is a God who will damn his children forever, I would rather go to hell than to go to heaven and keep the society of such an infamous tyrant. I make my choice now. I despise that doctrine. It has covered the cheeks of this world with tears. It has polluted the hearts of children, and poisoned the imaginations of men.

What right have you, sir, Mr. clergyman, you, minister of the gospel to stand at the portals of the tomb, at the vestibule of eternity, and fill the future with horror and with fear? I do not believe this doctrine, neither do you. If you did, you could not sleep one moment. Any man who believes it, and has within his breast a decent, throbbing heart, will go insane. A man who believes that doctrine and does not go insane has the heart of a snake and the conscience of a hyena.

Robert Green Ingersoll, "The Liberty Of All" (1877)

Ayn Rand:

Ask youself whether the dream of heaven and greatness should be waiting for us in our graves or whether it should be ours here and now and on this earth.

Faith, as such, is extremely detrimental to human life: it is the negation of reason.

Faith is the wors curse of mankind, as the exact antithesis and enemy of thought.

"Man created God in his image : intolerant, sexist, homophobic and violent." Marie

"Life is but a momentary glimpse of the wonder of the astonishing universe, and it is sad to see so many dreaming it away on spiritual fantasy." Carl Sagan

"Believing there is no God gives me more room for belief in family, people, love, truth, beauty, sex, Jell-o, and all the other things I can prove and that make this life the best life I will ever have." Penn Jillette

"The World is divided into armed camps ready to commit genocide just because we can't agree on whose fairy tales to believe." Ed Krebs

"George Bush says he speaks to god every day, and christians love him for it. If George Bush said he spoke to god through his hair dryer, they would think he was mad. I fail to see how the addition of a hair dryer makes it any more absurd."

"There once was a time when all people believed in God and the church ruled. This time was called the Dark Ages." Richard Lederer

"With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion." Steven Weinberg

"He that will not reason is a bigot; he that cannot reason is a fool; he that dares not reason is a slave" William Drummond

"The presence of those seeking the truth is infinitely to be preferred to the presence of those who think they've found it." Terry Pratchett

"Humanity is intrinsicaly savage, and I am only sorry that not being a dog I can’t bite them." Unknown

"I am patient with stupidity, but not with those who are proud of it." Speech to Christians. Edith Sitwell

"Praying is like a rocking chair it'll give you something to do, but it won't get you anywhere" Gypsy Rose Lee

"Why would some all powerful being create creatures capable of reason and then demand that they act in a manner contrary to their creation?" Josh Charles

"I call Christianity the one great curse, the one great intrinsic depravity, and the one great instinct of revenge, for which no means are venomous enough, or secret, subterranean and small enough - I call it the one immortal blemish on the human race." Friedrich Nietzsche

"Of all the systems of religion that ever were invented, there is none more derogatory to the Almighty, more unedifying to man, more repugnant to reason, and more contradictory in itself than this thing called Christianity.

Too absurd for belief, too impossible to convince, and too inconsistent for practice, it renders the heart torpid or produces only atheists or fanatics. As an engine of power, it serves the purpose of despotism, and as a means of wealth, the avarice of priests, but so far as respects the good of man in general it leads to nothing here or hereafter." Thomas Paine

"There was a time when I believed in the story and the scheme of salvation, so far as I could understand it, just as I believed there was a Devil. Suddenly the light broke through to me and I knew this God was a lie. For indeed it is a silly story, and each generation nowadays swallows it with greater difficulty. Why do people go on pretending about this Christianity?" H. G. Wells

"Religion is not the hero of the day, but the zero. In any exposition of the products of brains, the Sunday-School takes the booby prize. Man has asked for truth and the Church has given him miracles. He has asked for knowledge, and the Church has given him theology. He has asked for facts, and the Church has given him the Bible. This foolishness should stop. The Church has nothing to give man that has not been in cold storage for two thousand years. Anything would become stale in that time." Marilla M. Ricker

Religion in General

"I have recently been examining all the known superstitions of the world, and do not find in our particular superstition [Christianity] one redeeming feature. They are all alike, founded upon fables and mythologies." Thomas Jefferson

"Religion comprises a system of wishful illusions together with a disavowal of reality, such as we find in an isolated form nowhere else but in amentia, in a state of blissful hallucinatory confusion." Sigmund Freud

"Religious creeds encourage some of the craziest kinds of thoughts, emotions, and behaviours and favour severe manifestations of neurosis, borderline personality states, and sometimes even psychosis." Albert Ellis

"I believe that religion, generally speaking, has been a curse to mankind." H. L. Mencken

"Man is the religious animal. He is the only religious animal. He is the only animal that has the True Religion several of them. He is the only animal that loves his neighbour as himself and cuts his throat, if his theology isnt straight. He has made a graveyard of the globe in trying his honest best to smooth his brothers path to happiness and heaven." Mark Twain

"The great religious ages were notable for their indifference to human rights not only for acquiescence in poverty, inequality, exploitation and oppression, but also for enthusiastic justifications for slavery, persecution, abandonment of small children, torture, and genocide.

Moreover, religion enshrined hierarchy, authority, and inequality. It was the age of equality that brought about the disappearance of such religious appurtenances as the auto-da-fe and burning at the stake." Arthur Schlesinger Jr.

"There was a time when religion ruled the world. It is known as the Dark Ages." Ruth Hurmence Green

"Not material or economic conditions in the ordinary sense, but perverse religious ideas explain the suspension of civilization in Europe from the 5th to the 12th century, and in the Mohammedan world after the 15th century." Joseph McCabe

"The most heinous and the most cruel crimes of which history has record have been committed under the cover of religion or equally noble motives." Mohandas Gandhi

"[M]ore wars have been waged, more people killed, and more evil perpetrated in the name of religion than by any other institutional force in human history. The sad truth continues in our present day." Charles Kimball

"Men never do evil so completely and cheerfully as when they do it from religious conviction." Blaise Pascal

"Religion is the brainchild of fear, and fear is the parent of cruelty. The greatest evils inflicted on humankind are perpetrated not by pleasure-seekers, self-seeking opportunists, or those who are merely amoral, but by fervent devotees of religion." Emmanuel Kofi Mensah

"As editor of the largest newspaper in West Virginia, I scan hundreds of reports daily and I am amazed by the frequency with which religion causes people to kill each other. It is a nearly universal pattern, undercutting the common assumption that religion makes people kind and tolerant." James Haught

"The man who is always worrying about whether or not his soul would be damned generally has a soul that isnt worth a damn." Oliver Wendell Holmes, Sr.

"The whole religious complexion of the modern world is due to the absence from Jerusalem of a lunatic asylum." Havelock Ellis

"If a man really believes that God once upheld slavery; that he commanded soldiers to kill women and babes; that he believed in polygamy; that he persecuted for opinion's sake; that he will punish forever, and that he hates an unbeliever, the effect in my judgment will be bad. It always has been bad. This belief built the dungeons of the Inquisition. This belief made the Puritan murder the Quaker." Robert Ingersoll

"I know of no book which has been a source of brutality and sadistic conduct, both public and private, that can compare with the Bible." Sir James Page

"When people expect God to plan their lives for them, and protect them, they tend to lose their motivation to guide and control their own lives." Charles W. Faulkner

"Men have never fully used the powers they possess to advance the good in life, because they have waited upon some power external to themselves and to nature to do the work they are responsible for doing." John Dewey

"To say grace, knowing that people on this globe are starving, indicates a highly selfish acquiescence in the arrogantly supposed favouritism of the almighty. A really decent god-believer, far from giving thanks for the food and good health and fortune enjoyed by himself and his family and close friends, would surely curse God for his neglect of the hungry, the sick and the tormented, throughout the world." Barbara Soker

"It is best to read the weather forecast before praying for rain." Mark Twain

"I prayed for freedom twenty years, but received no answer until I prayed with my legs." Frederick Douglass

"[Children] are taught that it is a virtue to accept statements without adequate evidence, which leaves them a prey to quacks of every kind in later life, and makes it very difficult for them to accept the methods of thought which are successful in science." J. B. S. Haldane

"I do not support religion because it demands that we give up our most important human asset, the ability to question. It demands that we simply believe. Isn't that true of any dictator, of any totalitarian society? Insofar as social development is concerned, nothing is of greater importance than the human function of questioning. Questioning led to the development of civilization." Vladimir Pozner

"It is no defence of superstition and pseudoscience to say that it brings solace and comfort to people. If solace and comfort are how we judge the worth of something, then consider that tobacco brings solace and comfort to smokers; alcohol brings it to drinkers; drugs of all kinds bring it to addicts; the fall of cards and the run of horses bring it to gamblers; cruelty and violence bring it to sociopaths. Judge by solace and comfort only and there is no behaviour we ought to interfere with." Isaac Asimov

"Through logic, you can see that the church concept of an all-loving heavenly father doesnt hold water. If a divine Maker fashioned everything that exists, he designed breast cancer for women, childhood leukaemia, cerebral palsy, leprosy, AIDS, Alzheimers disease, and Downs syndrome. He mandated foxes to rip rabbits apart (bunnies emit a terrible shriek at that moment) and cheetahs to slaughter fawns. No human would be cruel enough to plan such horrors. If a supreme being did so, hes a monster, not an all-merciful father." James Haught

"According to The World Health Report 1996, most of the 17 million people who died of infectious diseases in 1995 were young children. Think of it! The death of each of those millions of children constitutes a rebuttal of the notion of the almighty and kindly God in heaven. How many rebuttals does it take to rid the world of belief in the omnipotent, omnibenevolent God? And how much stronger is the case against God when we consider the overwhelming amount of animal suffering. " A. J. Mattill Jr.

"The only excuse for God is that he doesnt exist." Friedrich Nietzsche

Religion and Individuality

"Under any religion, the preestablished impersonal code transcends the right of the individual to explore, experience, and marvel at the mysteries of his own life and death. Religions introduce us not to God but to slavery. They deprive us of our freedom to explore our own souls and to discover the endless and wondrous possibilities presented to us by an infinite universe. And most often the method of religions is fear, not love. They demand blind obedience and often obedience to dreadful dogma." Gerry Spence

Morality and Religion

Religion's Arbitrary Moral Standards
"Whenever morality is based on theology, whenever the right is made dependent on divine authority, the most immoral, unjust, infamous things can be justified and established. Morality is then surrendered to the groundless arbitrariness of religion." Ludwig Feuerbach

Religion Promotes Ignorant and Barbaric Ideas about Morality

"By inflaming and justifying the worst of human instincts as the will of God, theistic religions have resulted in countless millions of people being tortured and murdered." Joseph Daleiden

"The atheist realizes that every selfish or cruel act and its consequences would remain uncomfortably remembered by himself, believing that no divine forgiveness is available to assuage the pangs of a guilty conscience." Frank Swancara

"The U.S. has more churchgoing than any other major democracy and it reports much higher rates of murder, rape, robbery, shootings, stabbings, drug use, unwed pregnancy, and the like, as well as occasional tragedies such as those at Waco and Jonestown. There may be no link between the two conditions, but the saturation of religion has failed to prevent the severe crime level.

Societies rife with fundamentalism and religious tribalism are prone to sectarian violence. In contrast, England, Scandinavia, Canada, Japan, and such lands have scant churchgoing, yet their people are more inclined to live peaceably, in accord with the social contract. The evidence seems clear: To find living conditions that are safe, decent, orderly, and 'civilized,' avoid places with intense religion." James Haught

Baptism

"With soap, baptism is a good thing." Robert Ingersoll

"It [slavery] has exercised absolute mastery over the American Church. With the Bible in their hands, her priesthood have attempted to prove that slavery came down from God out of heaven. They have become slaveholders and dealers in human flesh." William Lloyd Garrison, abolitionist leader

"Susan Boggs, a black runaway interviewed in Canada in 1863, said of the religious slave masters: 'Why the man that baptized me had a colored woman tied up in his yard to whip when he got home that very Sunday and her mother was in church hearing him preach. He preached, "You must obey your masters and be good servants." That is the greater part of the sermon, when they preach to the colored folks. Gerry Spence

"Let the gentleman go to Revelation to learn the decree of God - let him go to the Bible. I said that slavery was sanctioned in the Bible, authorized, regulated, and recognized from Genesis to Revelation.

Slavery existed then in the earliest ages, and among the chosen people of God; and in Revelation we are told that it shall exist till the end of time shall come. You find it in the Old and New Testaments - in the prophecies, psalms, and the epistles of Paul; you find it recognized - sanctioned everywhere." Jefferson Davis, president of the Confederate States of America

"There was no place in the land where the seeker could not find some small budding sign of pity for the slave. No place in all the land but one - the pulpit. It yielded at last; it always does. It fought a strong and stubborn fight, and then did what it always does, joined the procession - at the tail end. Slavery fell. The slavery text in the Bible remained; the practice changed; that was all." Mark Twain

Religion and Science

"As the Church assumed leadership, activity in the fields of medicine, technology, science, education, history, art and commerce all but collapsed. Europe entered the Dark Ages." Helen Ellerbe

"The losses in science were monumental. In some cases the Christian church's burning of books and repression of intellectual pursuit set humanity back as much as two millennia in its scientific understanding." Helen Ellerbe

"Turn over the pages of history and read the damning record of the church's opposition to every advance in every field of science. " Upton Sinclair

"The establishment of Christianity arrested the normal development of the physical sciences for over fifteen hundred years." Andrew Dickson White

Old Testament

"According to 2 Samuel 12:7-8, God himself gave David Sauls wives. Here again is the divine stamp of approval upon bigamy, concubinage, and polygamy a whole regiment of wives!

Nowhere in the sacred book does God issue a command against these practices. Little wonder that among Jews in Moslem countries polygamy continues to the present day, and that Mormons originally practiced polygamy." A. J. Mattill Jr.

"The usual marriage in traditional cultures was arranged for by the families. It wasnt a person-to-person decision at all. In the Middle Ages, that was the kind of marriage that was sanctified by the Church. And so the troubadour idea of real person-to-person Amor was very dangerous. It is in direct contradiction to the way of the Church.

The word AMOR spelt backwards is ROMA, the Roman Catholic Church, which was justifying marriages that were simply political and social in their character. And so came this movement validating individual choice, what I call following your bliss." Joseph Campbell

"Countless victims whose marriages have been destroyed by the church have told me that this is the Scripture verse that a pastor cited to convince their spouse to break up their marriage. During radio interviews in various parts of the United States I have received several on-air telephone calls from the hapless survivors of such sabotaged marriages.

They all tell me the same story: 2 Corinthians 6:14 [Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?]. Perhaps the Bible should be subtitled: Words to Break Up a Family By." Austin Miles

"The principle of the Inquisition was murderous. The popes were not only murderers in the great style, but they also made murder a legal basis of the Christian Church and a condition of salvation." Lord Acton

"By far the cruellest aspect of the inquisitional system was the means by which confessions were wrought: the torture chamber. Torture remained a legal option for the Church from 1252 when it was sanctioned by Pope Innocent IV until 1917 when the new Codex Juris Canonici was put into effect.

Thus, with license granted by the Pope himself, inquisitors were free to explore the depths of horror and cruelty. The Inquisition invented every conceivable device to inflict pain by slowly dismembering and dislocating the body. Many of these devices were inscribed with the motto 'Glory be only to God.'" Helen Ellerbe

"She [the Catholic Church] worked hard at it night and day during nine centuries and imprisoned, tortured, hanged, and burned whole hordes and armies of witches, and washed the Christian world clean with their foul blood. Then it was discovered that there was no such thing as witches, and never had been. One doesnt know whether to laugh or to cry.

Who discovered that there was no such thing as a witch - the priest, the parson? No, these never discover anything. " Mark Twain

"I read in the newspaper that the Catholic Church finally decided that it had been theologically improper to try to convert the Jews. Whoops! Sorry for all those inquisitions, crusades, and autos-da-fe. Previous popes were wrong - infallible, perhaps, but wrong." Alan Dershowitz

"The consequences of the popes' ill-conceived dictates [about contraception] are as catastrophic as the persecution of heretics in bygone years. The result will be, in effect, to sentence millions to face starvation and hundreds of millions more to a marginal, subhuman existence." Joseph Daleiden

That church tells the girl of sixteen or eighteen years of age, with eyes like dew and light; that girl with the red of health in the white of her beautiful cheeks - tells that girl, 'Put on the veil, woven of death and night, kneel upon stones, and you will please God.' I tell you that, by law, no girl should be allowed to take the veil and renounce the joys and beauties of this life." Robert Ingersoll

The Pope
"Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain." Oz

"At a conservative estimate, ten million witches were killed throughout Europe[T]he decline of witch-belief was entirely the product of religious scepticism. The Catholic Church did not reform itself on this matter; it was forced by outside pressure to reform.

To be sure, the Protestant churches were no better in this regard; it is simply that they had less time - only two or three centuries - to engage in the torching of witches. After all, John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, stated quite correctly that disbelief in witches meant a disbelief in the Bible." S. T. Joshi

"As to the gods, I have no means of knowing either that they exist or do not exist." Protagoras

"The religion that is afraid of science dishonours God and commits suicide. Every influx of atheism, of scepticism, is thus made useful as a mercury pill assaulting and removing a diseased religion, and making way for truth." Ralph Waldo Emerson

"The atheist is a man who destroys the chimeras which afflict the human race, and so leads men back to nature, to experience and to reason." Baron d Holbach

"I have never seen the slightest scientific proof of the religious theories of heaven and hell, of future life for individuals, or of a personal God."
Thomas Edison

"Christ died for our sins. Dare we make his martyrdom meaningless by not committing them?"
Jules Feiffer

"In the long run nothing can withstand reason and experience, and the contradiction religion offers to both is only too palpable."
Sigmund Freud

The beauty of religious mania is that it has the power to explain everything. Once God (or Satan) is accepted as the first cause of everything which happens in the mortal world, nothing is left to chance, logic can be happily tossed out the window."
Stephen King

"Religion has caused more misery to all men in every state of human history than any other single idea."
Madelyn Murray O'Hair

"No God ever gave any man anything, nor ever answered any prayer at any time nor ever will."
Madelyn Murray O'Hair

"Better to be unborn than untaught, for ignorance is the root of all misfortune."
Plato

“Now it seems to me when a man or woman gives up his or her reason and accepts the teachings of any men, who has no means of knowing any more about a matter than they, is no longer a man or woman but a puppet to be buffeted around by any one who chances to have a stronger mind and hypnotizing power greater than his or her own. God has printed his laws in the heart of every man and woman, to know right from wrong, according to the power and light within him or her.” Robert Stowe Stowe's Bible Astrology

“The rapid march of science and civilization will soon inaugurate the era when the man or woman who shall still be found clinging to these childish superstitious and religious concepts—the offspring of ignorance, and the relics of barbarism, and a certain proof of undeveloped or unenlightened minds—will be looked upon as deplorably ignorant and superstitious.” Kersey Graves

“There is no sadder spectacle in the intellectual world, than that of a man possessed of really great mental possibilities, frittering away their time and their self respect in trying to make a superstition appear reasonable by explaining its absurdities in an illogical manner, and, instead of walking erect in the dignity of a rational man or womanhood, staggering along in a blind stupor, produced by the fumes of mysticism.” Bronson C. Keeler

I appeal to evry man and woman on this planet to abandon religion once and for all, religion has been responsible for the break up of marriages, the disentegration of families and human atrocoities, nothing compares to the absurdity of religion, it really is the most hideous form of mind control on the planet earth. Please! you do NOT need them, the only keys they hold are the keys to HELL. Educate yourself and become an fully aware enlightened human being, before it's too late.

The world has had enough of the nincompoops spreading their filthy lies, just send us your love gift and plant money seeds and god will give you back ten fold shaken and pressed down, Please! haven't you had enough of these Creflo Dollar liars already?

Oh yeah they put on a good show, and yes they speak with seeming authority, they are great orators, but that's all they are is great orators, they are an as an empty tomb on the inside. They can't or don't want a real job, so they get up there on their soap box and get you to send them your hard earned money, so that they can live like kings, and yes they do, they do because you gave them your hard earned money.

When are you going to wake up, when will you start to see the truth, that there is NO God that needs or wants your money, this is the lie perepertrated by these shills, they have convinced you that if you show up to church on Sunday and put your money in the basket, that somehow you are pleasing some God, and you will go to heaven. This is the single biggest HOAX of all time folks, follwed by the JFK assiniation 911, terroists and pharmaceutical companies and doctors caring about your health.

They have you right where they want you, afraid, in fear of hell-fire and damnation. You are only damned only when you are part of them, Jesus even said it!

Now more than ever, it is time to get our minds right, to get understanding, to get truth, to see beyong the veil of superstition and lies. Especially in these times leading up to 2012. Every single holy book written is telling you to go into meditation, never is there any command to go to some godbox down the street and hear lies for one hour on Sunday. This kind of activity is called Tradition, and tradition KILLS!

Believe me when I say this, you DO NOT have to go to church, you do not have to pray, you do not have to give money, you do not have to be a part of any religious organization in order that you may be saved or go to heaven, you will see this truth on this blog. The entire Bible is ancient Mythology describing the enlightenment process, and that is all, every story and every page reveals this truth.

Every single religion points it's rotting finger at the other guys rotting finger, calling it flase and corrupt, when in fact ALL religions are but rotting fingers pointing at the sesspools that they are. They are all, every single one, nothing but a quicksand for the soul, they literally suck the life force right out of a you, leaving you a mass of viral infected jelly, robbed of your OWN God given inner power, they are Physic vampires, if you will. But you have let them get away with this for far too long, it's been two thousand years, and NOW it's time to take back the land that God gave you, (your brain/mind).

The Bible refers to the religions and the thoughts that they have imbedded into your subconscious mind as Canaanites, these are lower quality thoughts that arise from lower mind thinking, from religious thinking, from tradition, in short from all of the stuff that makes up your subconscious mind, which came from the OUTER world. These are the Canaanites in Biblical Mythology.

The Catholic church is the tree which all other Christian denominations arose from, if the tree is corrupt, so are also the roots, so are also it's branches. Judaism, Christianity and Islam, they are destroyers of life and freedom, the biggest force against the human spirit next to your Government that ever was or ever will be.

The next time you turn on your TV and see any evangelist, wheter it be Pat Opossum head Robertson and his clone son, or Jimmy crying Swaggert and his clone, or Fat head (Israeli apologist) John no clue Hagee and his clone son, Jack Van (end of the world) Imbicile, the TBN Crotches (sic), etal..., please realize what you are really looking at, you are looking at a show, a comedy script, cast right out of hell itself, the devil is real after all, yes he is, every time you see THEM, you see the DEVIL!

Every single preacher, TV evangelist, priest, any robe wearing fool, you ever see are nothing more than black holes masqerading as light. realize this fact, and you will be one more enlightened human being on this planet. And believe me, we need more enlightened human beings, because it really is a kind of war against dark and light, good and evil, religion being the biggest slice of this darkness and evil on this planet.

I appeal to you to become informed, to get understanding, so that YOU will become one more source of LIGHT, that the world so badly needs.

That LIGHT is in you, but it is dormant, it has been kept dormant by them, don't let it remain so.

If you read just the stuff on the right side bar and the three parts of the home page, you will have enough understanding to abandon religion forever. You will see and know that they have lied to you from the beginning, and what does the Bible say, it says that the devil is the father of lies, so that makes religion the devil. You are actually the angel, they just don't want you to know that. You are better than them, better than they ever will be or have ever been, you just didn't know it, because they put the fear of a literal HELL in you, and we bought into it.

Religion is coming to an end, and one day it will be looked back on as the darkest hour of our spiritual lives.

You have the ability to add light to the world, become that light.

Everyday we see more doom and gloom on the news, financial meltdowns, human as well as natural disasters, governments and states economies collapsing, and we lose our pay, our jobs our minds. And what do we do? we seek help, we seek empathy and sympathy, so we go to the nearest soul factory down the street, and this just adds more crap to our already burdened minds.

Instead of going where the Bible, the Emerald tablet and other books say to go, we go the opposite direction, we march right into hell (church), churches built with tools, by the hands of humans, exactly where the Bible and Jesus said NOT to go.

From Bill Donahue of Hidden Meanings

" Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness".

The pleasant portion is the Garden of Eden. It is the East side the right side. It is desolate because religious people to not direct followers to meditation, to seek the higher mind, to separate from thought. Thus people do not go there , do not meditate and that portion is thus desolate. And the responsibility for that desolation falls on the pastors, ie RELIGION!

KJV Jeremiah 22:22

The wind shall eat up all thy pastors, and thy lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shalt thou be ashamed and confounded for all thy wickedness.

Here is an excellent prophecy. The wind is a metaphysical symbol of the spirit. In other words the changes that will eventually come will cause people to move away from religious leaders.

They will be discredited in the eyes of people. Those who still follow and love them will be held captive by them as they are now. People are held captive to religious rules and doctrines and church laws and surely so many are ashamed and totally showed by the wickedness that has evolved out of church and religion.

KJV Jeremiah 23:1

1. Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord.

Notice, my pasture. That grazing place of green, the right side. Where angles of light or angels of light enter. When they enter do they find you there or do they report back that the pasture , the garden is desolate, because of them!

KJV Jeremiah 23:2

2. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord.

You pastors have scattered my flock. How true. Not only scattered from one another but hating and bombing and killing one another. You have driven them away. Away from what. Away from the Garden of Eden.

The right hemisphere of the brain mind that is Gods and according to the pastors, off limits to the flock. I will visit upon you the evil of your doings , and that certainly has begun.

Now you might initially think that references to pastors impacts negatively on our theory that all of the Bible references things inside of you. Not so.

In this case the word pastor means your beliefs. The things inside of you that have come from the outside. It is your beliefs that have been nurtured by pastors in organized religion that have separated you from God.

EVERYTHING, INCLUDING PASTORS, IS INSIDE OF YOU

In other words pastors are inside of you because their teachings, their thoughts, their beliefs, their traditions are inside of you. Those beliefs and teachings and traditions have separated you from God.

The right hemisphere of the brain is the Garden of Eden. It is Gods pleasant portion within where all people should be going, but very few go there because pastors have warned them about meditation that separates from thought.

Why have they warned about meditation that separates us from thought, because separating from thought separates you from them.

But Gods pleasant portion , the Garden of Eden which is the right hemisphere of the brain has become a wasteland because pastors have kept people away.

IT'S ALL IN YOUR MIND

Using the bible and science we are arriving at very significant documentation that those things described in the Bible and experienced in life as sacred are actually things inside the human brain mind.

The Garden of Eden, The tree of life, the Red Sea, the Exodus, the virgin birth, the crucifixion, God, Jesus , everything referred to by the Bible is actually an energy inside of each of us and available to each of us.

But first, you must abandon THEM! Then, Then, maybe then you can start to see clearly, you can start to get back to nature (God), you can then laugh at their BEARDS, funny hats and smoking voodoo purses!

You may refuse to believe it because of your cultural conditioning and family tradition or your own EGO, maybe youre not ready for it yet, and you still need to drink milk instead of eating meat.

Hebrews 5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. 5:14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

Here the bible is saying that his word is like milk to you, as a babe must drink milk before it can eat solid food. the bible is saying the word is for the the one who is ready for meat, in other words, when one is ready for the deeper meaning, this is the meat, for the one full of age (wisdom). Reading Gods word literally is MILK, it is for the unskillful, and they will not understand.

Lests eat a well done filet mignon and wash it down with water that has been turned into wine, then it can be said that we have understanding. leave the milk for the younger souls that are running around on their emotions and going inside of buildings made with hands.

"The first step to mystical realization is the leaving of such a defined god for an experience of trancendence, disegaging the ethnic from the elemetary idea, "for any god who is not transparent to transcendence is an idol, and it's worshop is idoltry"

"God is an infinite sphere who's center is is everywhere, and circumference nowhere"

Thoughts of the mind

Negative thoughts.

When the lord your god brings you into the land (higher consciousness), which are entering to take possession of it, and clears away many notions before you, the Hittites, the Girgishites, the Amorites, the canaanites, the Perrezites, the Hivites and the Jebusites, even among nations greater and mightier than yourselves, and when the lord your god gives them over to you, and you defeat them; then you must destroy them; you shall make no covenant with the mind show them no mercy.

Giving your daughters (emotional thoughts), for your sons (higher thoughts). For they would turn away your sons from following me, to serve other gods (lower ego thoughts), then the anger of the lord would be kindled against you, and he would destroy you utterly. (All of your lower mind qualities).

But this shall you deal with them; you shall break down their alters, and dash in pieces their pillars, and hew down their Asherim, and burn their graven images with fire.

For you are a people holy to the lord your god has chosen you to be a people for his own posession, out of all the peoples that are on the face of the earth. Deut 7:1:6

That's you if you are in MEDITATION.

You cannot posess the promised land if your mind is under the control of the Pharoah (the ego), and ruled by the lower quality thoughts the Hittites, the Girgishites, the Amorites, the canaanites, the Perrezites, the Hivites and the Jebusites. No these are not LITERAL tribes in the outer world, they are the tribes that have been ruling your land your whole life, in your INNER world.
