All of the stories in the Bible are symbolic, they are symbolic of the wars between the lower nature and the higher self or god.


What was the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah? Why did God judge the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah so severely?


Now pay close attention to the following verse Gen 19. The SUN is a symbol of the higher consciousness or renewed mind, in ALL mythologies.


The sun was risen upon the earth when Lot entered into Zoar. Zoar is just another symbol of the brain.


Sodom and Gomorrah is about to be rained on by fire, brimstone, hail and sulfur, anytime we see god getting real angry, he sends the lightning bolts, thunder and anything else he can think of, just like he did in Egypt, when he was angry with the Pharaoh.

Watch out Sodom and Gomorrah here comes the holy lightning ghost.


Paracelsus

Inside gold is the alchemical Sun. Inside the Sun is an active substance, sulfur. Sometimes alchemists equal sulfur with the Sun. Sulfur is the spirit of life. Sulfur is of a twofold nature: white and red sulfur. White sulfur is the substance of the Great Work at the phase of Whiteness, and red sulfur at the stage of redness.


In general sulfur is the symbol for the active principle in the Great Work.





Hail - Frozen Love

The seventh plague, in which produce-destroying hail descended upon Egypt, is symbolic of selfish love.

If fire symbolizes rejection, water, naturally descending from a higher plane to a lower plane, embodies the qualities of generosity and loving-kindness.

In Kabbala, the flow of love is compared to a flow of water, irrigating and nourishing a human soul with its refreshing vibrancy.

Yet, a man who finds himself in "Egyptian" bondage knows only an icy love, a love that is based entirely on self-seeking motives and self-centered considerations.

This person's rain-like flow of love becomes cold and frozen like hail, harming his loved ones instead of nurturing them.

[This explains the mystical significance behind the fact that the hail that fell in Egypt had burning flames within it (Ex. 9:24).

The cold and icy individual is also aflame he is fired with self-love and ablaze with egotistical passions.

Indeed, it is his excess of inner heat that is the cause of his icy exterior.





Sodom represents the first RROT chakra

Remember in the book of revelations jesus was SPIRITUALLY crucified in a place called Sodom and Egypt. Egypt being the second chakra center.


Genesis 19:1-13

The two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening, (two angels are symbols of two angles of light/divine impulses recieved in the meditative state, their just symbols of both hemispheres of the brain receiving that which is from above, this is the good stuff),


and Lot was sitting in the gateway of the city, (The city is the brain, the gateway means one that is in meditation and and is about to open the right hemisphere of the brain).


When he saw them, he got up to meet them and bowed down with his face to the ground (The lower nature is subject to the higher).


"My lords," he said, "please turn aside to your servant's house (you are the servant, the ego). You can wash your feet ( Washing feet is a symbol of cleansing the lower animal thoughts from the mind).



and spend the night and then go on your way early in the morning ( morning means enlightenment)." "No," they answered, "we will spend the night in the square." (The square is the center of one's consciousness)


But he insisted so strongly that they did go with him and entered his house. He prepared a meal for them, baking bread without yeast, and they ate. (The meal is partaking of the fruits spiritual progress during meditation)


Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom both young and old surrounded the house (all of the thoughts in your waking consciousness, the city is the brain in the Bible), remember your enemies are those of your own house, Jesus.


They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them." ( men are symbols of lower ego thoughts, they are men signifying that they are mature thoughts, one set in his ways, these are in other parts of the bible called chariots of iron), To have sex with them, means that these lower natured thoughts will kill out the higher, this is the battle of the lower mind vs the higher mind. The lower mind is trying to convert any higher thoughts to it's lower vibrational quality by having sex with them.


the off spring will produce lower quality thoughts, the lower mind is trying to hold on to the soul.


Lot went outside to meet them and shut the door behind him and said, "No, my friends. Don't do this wicked thing. Look, I have two daughters who have never slept with a man. ( two daughters are symbols of thoughts, they are neutral quality thoughts, thoughts that arise out of either higher or lower thinking).



Let me bring them out to you, and you can do what you like with them. But don't do anything to these men, for they have come under the protection of my roof." (that's the brain/temple with the higher nature in control, door locked)






"Get out of our way," they replied. And they said, "This fellow came here as an alien, and now he wants to play the judge! We'll treat you worse than them." They kept bringing pressure on Lot and moved forward to break down the door ( the lower ego mind seeking to enter the door, the door in the door of your very own consciousness ). But the men inside reached out and pulled Lot back into the house and shut the door. Jesus said your enemies are those of your own house ( mind ).

The lower mind trying to infest the higher mind with lower emotional thoughts.

Then they struck the men who were at the door of the house, young and old, with blindness ( blinded by ones own emotions ) so that they could not find the door (blindness refers to spiritual blindness, they couldn't find the door, that's the door to the temple, the brain or higher consciousness.).


The two men ( men are symbols of waking consciousness )  said to Lot, "Do you have anyone else here sons-in- law, sons or daughters ( daughters are the emotions ), or anyone else in the city who belongs to you? Get them out of here, because we are going to destroy this place. The outcry to the LORD against its people is so great that he has sent us to destroy it." (NIV)


(The higher conscious is now going to destroy the great city, this very similar to all other bible stories, like killing out the Canaanites (lower ego thoughts) and allowing Israelites (the higher nature) to return home to the promised land, the brain on god, if you will)).



Bet you didn't know that there's an exact copy of the story of LOT in another place in the bible, that should drive home the point that the story is allegory and never LITERAL.


Judges 19:13-27

He added, "Come, let's try to reach Gibeah or Ramah and spend the night in one of those places." So they went on, and the sun set as they neared Gibeah in Benjamin. There they stopped to spend the night.

They went and sat in the city square, but no one took them into his home for the night. That evening an old man from the hill country of Ephraim, who was living in Gibeah (the men of the place were Benjamites), came in from his work in the fields. When he looked and saw the traveler in the city square, the old man asked, "Where are you going? Where did you come from?"



He answered, "We are on our way from Bethlehem in Judah to a remote area in the hill country of Ephraim where I live. I have been to Bethlehem in Judah and now I am going to the house of the LORD.

No one has taken me into his house. We have both straw and fodder for our donkeys and bread and wine for ourselves your servants-- me, your maidservant, and the young man with us. We don't need anything." "You are welcome at my house," the old man said. "Let me supply whatever you need. Only don't spend the night in the square." So he took him into his house and fed his donkeys. After they had washed their feet, they had something to eat and drink.






While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him." The owner of the house went outside and said to them, "No, my friends, don't be so vile. Since this man is my guest, don't do this disgraceful thing.


Look, here is my virgin daughter, and his concubine. I will bring them out to you now, and you can use them and do to them whatever you wish. But to this man, don't do such a disgraceful thing." But the men would not listen to him. So the man took his concubine and sent her outside to them, and they raped her and abused her throughout the night, and at dawn they let her go. At daybreak the woman went back to the house where her master was staying, fell down at the door and lay there until daylight. When her master got up in the morning and opened the door of the house and stepped out to continue on his way, there lay his concubine, fallen in the doorway of the house, with her hands on the threshold. (NIV)




Notice the similarity in the stories. Compare Genesis 19:4,5 with Judges 19:22.

Genesis 19:4,5

Before they had gone to bed, all the men from every part of the city of Sodom, both young and old surrounded the house. They called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us so that we can have sex with them."

Judges 19:22

While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him."



In the account in Judges the wicked men were appeased with the female concubine. This proves they were not homosexuals. They were after sex for power or rape. If you read further you'll learn that the tribe of Benjamin was almost totally destroyed because of this incident. Both tribe of Benjamin nor the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah were punished because of homosexuality. Both of these accounts clearly describe rape. What the men of Sodom were going to do to the angels in Genesis was what the men of Gibeah did to the traveler's concubine in Judges.




What is a HOMOSEXUAL?

The verses in the bile telling of god hating the sexually immoral, idolaters, adulterers, passive homosexual partners, practicing homosexuals, thieves, the greedy, drunkards, the verbally abusive, and swindlers has wrought havoc in the minds of Lesbians and homosexuals alike, because religion has convinced them that these verses are LITERAL, and they are NOT. They are symbolic of the thoughts that one holds and continues to produce from their very own consciousness.



Perhaps they become disfigured by the assault, or walk with a limp from a leg wound, and must, from then on, feel awkward and embarrassed when approaching others. Tragically, others don’t survive the battle at all.


When one is trying to reach a higher consciousness in meditation, those thoughts that enter your mind which are negative and pull you back down are homosexual in nature, other thoughts that arise in the form of negative, which are the same quality as previous thoughts are homosexuals, idolaters, drunkards etc.. in bible terminology, you see the bible uses these terms to describe things that go on in the human mind.






That's why God hates homosexuals, because it represents people that feed off of their emotions, and continue to give birth to new homosexual thought patterns, that have arisen from the first of their own kind.


There isn't any god that hates gay people, gayness is inborn it is genetic, it is encoded in the genes and dna, and dna is the word of god, it is god given, if it is god given, then how can god hate it?


God is NOT concerned with a person from the neck down. here is Biblical proof of that.


Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind [is] enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.


Did you read that, god is NOT subject to the human carnal nature, what humans do to their bodies is of no concern to any god, but what the content of one's consciousness is, now that's a different story. gayness doesn't kill, the lower egoic thinking does.


"For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
(Heb. 4:12 KJV)


Thoughts and intents is gods only concern, he will circumcise those lower thoughts, if you go into meditation.


They are symbolic not LITERAL. (Don't be a minister of the LETTER) so we always look for the metaphysical interpretation of the scriptures.



If you're gay, have no fear from religious nutters, they don't have a clue as how to read the mythology, you are NOT going to any Hell, THEY alone will enter hell like an arrow for scaring you with MYTHOLOGY.


A Homosexual is a symbol of the quality of the thoughts that will not follow the higher nature, but a steady stream of lower emotional thoughts are produced by this mind, and this of course will turn into a rotten situation for all those in the vicinity of such a person (a homosexual) It's all just SYMBOLS.


Like the one below, really nasty if you don't understand the metaphysical interpretation.




Why were Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed? What were the grievous sins that God judged them worthy of such destruction? What was the great outcry God was referring to in Genesis chapter 18? We don't need to wonder. The Bible tells us exactly why these cities were destroyed. Because they represent the lower gross animal mind operating at the first three plexus centers of the body, the sea of reeds etc.....




Ezekiel 16:48-50


As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, your sister Sodom and her daughters never did what you and your daughters have done. "'Now this was the sin of your sister Sodom: She and her daughters were arrogant, overfed and unconcerned; they did not help the poor and needy. They were haughty and did detestable things before me. Therefore I did away with them as you have seen. (NIV)







Ezekiel Chapter 16 is an allegory God used to compare unfaithful Jerusalem to an adulterous wife for committing religious adultery. As you can see God listed the sins of Sodom. No homosexuality is listed there. Those detestable or abominable acts mentioned refereed to the religious rituals popular in that time. We will cover these in the section on false gods.



Deuteronomy 29:22-26

Your children who follow you in later generations and foreigners who come from distant lands will see the calamities that have fallen on the land and the diseases with which the LORD has afflicted it. The whole land will be a burning waste of salt and sulfur-- nothing planted, nothing sprouting, no vegetation growing on it. It will be like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, Admah and Zeboiim, which the LORD overthrew in fierce anger.



All the nations will ask: "Why has the LORD done this to this land? Why this fierce, burning anger?" And the answer will be: "It is because this people abandoned the covenant of the LORD, the God of their fathers, the covenant he made with them when he brought them out of Egypt. They went off and worshiped other gods and bowed down to them, gods they did not know, gods he had not given them. (NIV)



Moses was about to die and he predicted the scattering of Israel and the destruction of the land like the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. This destruction of Israel was not prophesied because of LITERAL homosexuality but because of the lower mind trying to harbor the thoughts of the higher, to bring and keep the mind and soul stuck at the personality (first three chakras of the body.


This is quite in line with the context of the entire Bible. Of course God promises their restoration in Deuteronomy chapter 30. This complete restoration is about to happen in the end times, but that is another study.



Amos 4:11

"I overthrew some of you as I overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. You were like a burning stick snatched from the fire, yet you have not returned to me," declares the LORD. (NIV)



If you read the book of Amos you find that God promises to overthrow Israel as He overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah for three things: The physical, the intellectual and emotional nature.



Jeremiah 23:13,14


"Among the prophets of Samaria I saw this repulsive thing: They prophesied by Baal and led my people Israel astray. And among the prophets of Jerusalem I have seen something horrible: They commit adultery and live a lie. They strengthen the hands of evildoers, so that no one turns from his wickedness. They are all like Sodom to me; the people of Jerusalem are like Gomorrah." (NIV)



Here is yet another comparison of the promised judgment of Israel to the judgment of Sodom and Gomorrah.



Matthew 10:11-15



"Whatever town or village you enter, search for some worthy person there and stay at his house until you leave. As you enter the home, give it your greeting. If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you. If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that home or town. I tell you the truth, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town. (NIV)


Here, Jesus Christ compares the sin of Sodom to the sin of faithlessness in people who reject the Gospel and inhospitaity, they reject to turn INWARD..






Matthew 11:20-24

Then Jesus began to denounce the cities in which most of his miracles had been performed, because they did not repent. "Woe to you, Korazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes. But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, will you be lifted up to the skies? No, you will go down to the depths. If the miracles that were performed in you had been performed in Sodom, it would have remained to this day. But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you." (NIV)


Here the Lord again makes reference to Sodom's destruction as he talks about unrepentant cities that refuse to follow their higher nature, instead of the lower ego mind.


Bet you never knew that!!





This story of Lot is the most touchy subject of all, due to the symbolism expressed. Like the Book if Revelations,the story of Noah, the parting of the Reed sea, these stories are pure SPIRITUAL allegories, and never LITERAL.



And because of that, it has been a thorn in many minds. Why should it be in the bible at all? again, it is because of the unknown, hidden meaning. Like the Song of Solomon and other exoteric expressions of symbolism which were current in those days, probably the deeper, hidden meaning behind the personae was sensed and thus remained in the text.


The story says a righteous man lived in the wicked city of Sodom.(his lower nature) Here the original evil is portrayed as two cities or centers of consciousness, which were misused and only the fire from above could purify them.


Lot remained untouched in the two cities (centers)(solar plexus (left brain) vs right Brain) but when two angels of the lord entered, the wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah, and Jehovah's intention to destroy the cities by fire, were made known to lot.



Lot was willing to surrender his two virgin daughters to the mob in order to save the two strangers who were the angels of God.





His two daughters represent two unsuccessful spiritual efforts of long duration. but, in order to keep the Grace of the SPIRIT of Jehovah which had come into the house (brain), he was willing to give up many claims of rewards for his efforts.



The spirit saved him by bringing him to a higher consciousness, a higher realm, upward. he and his wife and two daughters were ushered out of the two centers while these chakras of consciousness were being purified and destroyed by fire. His negative aspect of desire for a home in matter, symbolized by his wife, looked back and froze or crystallized into a pillar of salt, the essence of not giving up the earthly desires of the soul. The looking back signifies when you and I try to hold on to that which is in material matter. Looking back at your lower nature, this old nature if grieved by the soul, it's the only nature it ever knew.








Now he dwelt in a cave with his two daughters, in the mountains, signify a higher state of consciousness, and the cave refers to a center of consciousness within. A safety zone. A place in meditation.



Here the sacrifice and all his efforts in Spiritual growth were rewarded by the lord. Having surrendered his will(ego)to God , his progress bore fruit. The two daughters were unsuccessful spiritual endeavors. The wine which intoxicated him, was the reward of spiritual progress, wine is a symbol of truth and wisdom.







in all humility, he continued his efforts for the inward journey, and he overcame, like Noah and Jonah. His efforts bore fruit, symbolized by the birth of a son (higher spiritual nature) to each daughter. Each became a nation (Pure thoughts) of complete growth of their own kind. Such is the symbolism of old, which is like a nut with a hard shell that breaks many a tooth.



He (the higher self) overcame the carnal or lower nature, but he lost his wife (mind), which symbolized part of his lower nature ruled by his ego.



In the bible killing children and sacrificing human lives, are but symbolic statements, denoting, killing out those thoughts that hamper your upward spiritual growth. And wine always symbolizes the spirit, blood the life force of God.



The bible is steeped in this symbolic tradition, and breaking the code if you will, is the only way to the nut inside. You will break a tooth.



All of the bible stories are but, stories signifying the souls journey back home to the fathers house, as in the prodigal son souls journey back home to the fathers house, as in the prodigal son. the story of the prodigal son is an allegory referring to each persons soul wanderings through life, it gets weary of such meandering and comes home to the father.


The kingdom of god is within you; In him we live, move and have our being.


The wedding feast of the souls is the summation of the bible. God rejoices when you finally turn to him.



The fire and brimstone always raining down in the bible is always the purifying spark of god, that takes place in the fornix of the brain, where your thoughts hover about, like the animals, creepy things and flying things of the Noah allegory.


The bible is a mind book, teaching you to get your mind right LUKE!!!


The heaven however is the mind that is controlled by the stubborn brutish nature. The combination of the two is a person who is very stubborn and brutish but takes charge and directs things from the lower or physical nature.


Who knows if anyone will ever understand or not.



Salt is good in some bible verses. for instance, MATT; Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.


Like all symbols in the Bible they have a dual meaning, a little salt is good, while too much salt is bad for you, like a pillar of salt, that's a lot of salt.




But the idea of salt comes from alchemy, the bible is steeped in alchemical ideas.






Salt is the third element in the trinity of the alchemical substances in the Great Work. As mercury is the water aspect, sulfur is the fiery aspect, so is salt the form aspect (salt is a crystalline form, or crystallized energy). So it is also a name for the ‘prima materia’, for the stone of the philosophers. The alchemists say that in its lower aspect salt is ‘bitter’. Here salt is symbol for knowledge and wisdom. Self-knowledge is bitter, painful. Sometimes they speak of the bitter ‘sea water’. As water or the sea stands for the soul, it is a reference to the same self-knowledge.


Salt is also seen as a symbol for the second phase of the Great Work, albedo, or whiteness, because here light breaks through, and thus also wisdom. Christ is called ‘Sal sapientiae’, the Salt of Wisdom’. It's also a symbol of the physical body.


In the beginning of the Great Work, the salt is called impure. Here it equals the earth, the body, our every day consciousness or being. The impure salt has to be dissolved (‘solutio’) into the divine water (quicksilver, or ‘prima materia’), by which it is purified. In albedo salt arises as a pure form and fixated, that is crystallized into a pure salt.





As symbol for wisdom, salt is the breath of the divine energy. This wisdom vivifies the invisible fire that energizes entire Nature. This fire controls life, movement, energy, the heavens, the planets. Paracelsus called this fire ‘the light of Nature’ a reference to the ‘anima mundi', the soul of the world.


The Spirit of Salt, however, is one of those ideas that is depicted in a variety of ways. A square or cube is the symbol for salt, and a cube suspended from a rope from Above is interpreted as the Spirit of Salt. Sometimes, the Spirit of Salt is shown as a cube with five stars around it. This of course, is the Quintessence or Fifth Element, which is the Life Force. In the final analysis, the Spirit of Salt is the Astral Body, the most highly purified Second Body of Light.





He who wants to get insight and enlightenment in all truth, think of God’s birth in himself, in the depth of his soul. As soon as he will open himself for that, all energies of the soul come to life, and in one instant he receives more wisdom than anybody can teach him. Meister Eckehart

SALT


salt 's path began 250 million years ago at a time when the first unicellular life forms erupted in a salt solution that covered the entire earth: the primordial ocean. As the embryo floats in the ocean of his mothers' womb, also a salt solution, memory of those primordial life forms is retained in the blood, neural network and psyche. Long before the invention of refrigerators, the salting of meat, for the sake of preservation, became a discovery that would change the course of mankind.


The production of salt became an industry of great wealth and power. Meat salting was integrated into the most central religious rituals of the ancient world, the act of sacrifice. When scanning the pages of the Bible one can find that King Solomon’s Jerusalem temple acted as an abattoir, regulating the salting and slaughtering of all animals in accordance to the law of the Bible.



In alchemy, salt stands for the soul and the collective consciousness of the ocean, while symbolically salt imbues both divine sanctity and diabolic destruction. Today the story of salt has come to be thought of as an ingredient found in potato chips and fast food enterprises. Our society’s over consumption of the element has contributed to the “tragic” disappearance of the traditional rituals and symbols it once came to represent.



How will this film look and feel? salt will stun the audience with high-end visual stimulation. Underwater night voyages on the crystal salt floor of the Dead Sea and blood cell collision with a salt crystal as seen through the eye of an electron microscope will all be a part of the imagery used in the film. Salt in it’s unadulterated whiteness, it’s perfectly square crystals and vast range of sizes (a molecule, a person, a mountain of salt) is a very photogenic substance. Sweat, urine, semen, saliva and blood are all vehicles for salt.



A voice over will narrate the story while the music playing along in the background will emphasize the ups and downs of the story with a slight parodistic tune ridiculing the seriousness of infomercial films (commercial technology or product marketing films). The idea for the film was inspired by the life-long study on salt conducted by Professor Rudolf Bloch, recipient of the Israel Prize for the Sciences. Professor Bloch published numerous articles on the subject and is responsible for shaping many salt industries around the world. Today his son Engineer David Bloch continues his research







In the Bible an alliance between God and the priesthood dynasty is sealed by "a covenant of salt, a covenant which could not be broken," (Numbers xviii. 19). The salting of meat was then integrated into the central religious ceremony of sacrifice. According to Jewish rituals, blood is considered sinful, only priests are holy enough to touch it and carry out the divine work of slaughtering and salting.


According to Biblical laws, each man had to bring his animals to Jerusalem to be sacrificed. The Temple had 2,000 salting baths where blood was drained out of the carcasses, hygienically preserving the meat. In turn this process produced social order and control by the priesthood over the salt market. Remnants of this monopoly still exist today on “kosher” food labels around the world. In Leonardo De Vinci’s famous painting “The Last Supper” an upside-down saltcellar lies before Judas Iscariot. Jesus had criticized the culture of sacrifice found in the temple.


His crucifixion is considered the last sacrifice, after which no more blood offerings to God are essential. Jesus’ disciples are called the salt of the earth the salt of wisdom.


The legend of salt is also found in many polytheistic beliefs. According to the Japanese Shinto creation myth, Izanagi threw down his “jeweled spear of heaven" into the ocean. When he lifted up his spear, the salt from the seas crystallized into the first island of Japan. In Hinduism, salt belongs to prana, the vital force burning in the gates of life: the kidneys. The preservative powers of salt challenged the process of decomposing post mortem when used for the mummification of Egyptian kings. In 1933, the Dalai Lama was buried sitting up in a bed of salt.


Don't grieve the loss of the ego, if you look back at the old days, and mourn the destruction of that once great city, you too will turn into a pillar of salt.
