JESUS CHRIST THE SUN GOD

I have shared this before but for those who have not seen it
I wish to present it again.

To consider Jesus as the Sun God let us start at the beginning.

The Greeks wrote the New Testament.

Each letter in Greek myth has a numerical value. Word totals can convey a different meaning then the word itself.

They gave us the name Iesous. We translate it into English as Jesus.

The name Iesous has a numerical value of 888 which in Greek is the mythical Sun.

And so the Sun story is under way. Jesus the Sun God is surrounded by 12 disciples as the Sun is surrounded by the 12 constellations of the Zodiac.

Let us follow the story, as we would follow the movement of the Sun through the four seasons and the zodiac signs.

Do not try to follow the story in order as it comes to the zodiac signs. Focus on how the Bible writers applied the cosmic energy to the Jesus story

The Sun is born in September of the Sign Virgo the virgin in the 9th month, Jesus is born of a virgin.

October is the Scorpion Scorpio. It is the Judas sign. The betrayer. Jesus is betrayed.

The sun falls to the lowest position in relation to the North. It appears near the Southern Cross, Crux. Jesus is crucified

The sun is then in the tomb of the winter solstice. December 22,23,24. Three days and three nights. Jesus the Sun God is in the tomb three days and three
nights.

The Sun is reborn out of the Winter Solstice on December 25th. We celebrate the birth of Jesus on December 25th.

The Sun then begins what is called celestial right ascension. To the North and East.

In February the Sun enters the sign of the waterman Aquarius. Jesus enters the water of the waterman John and is Baptized.

In March the Sun enters the fish sign Pisces. Jesus selects his disciples from fishermen.

In April the Sun enters the sign of the Ram which takes away the cold of the winter. Jesus becomes the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.

On June 21st, the summer solstice there is more light then on any other day. The Sun sits at the East. The right side looking north. Jesus sits at the right hand of the father.

In August the sun concludes its journey in the sign of the lion Leo. The Jesus story ends as portrayed in Revelation as He becomes Lion of Judah.

Thus we have Gods Sun. The light of the world.

The light that lights every living being in creation.

And since Revelation refers to Jesus as the Amen.

Let us all conclude this by saying Amen.

And let us acknowledge that Amen is Amen Ra, the Egyptian Sun God

And finally let us consider this scripture concerning Jesus and the Egyptian Sun God Amen.

Matthew 2:15

Christians Are Hate-Filled Hypocrites. Do I have a right to speak like this? Well Jesus did, read the Pharisee woes. If he called them hypocrites and slimy vipers, white sepulchers, children of hell and such,  then so can I.

The FIRST RED Flag is when you are dealing with someone and then they profess to be a Christian with Christian values etc... Get the hell away from that person as fast as you can!!!! 

People hide behind the Christian label, proclaiming that they are Christians somehow denotes that you will be treated fairly and kindly, in fact nothing is farther from the truth. If someone tells you that they are a Christian and that they go to church, watch your Ps and Qs around such an individual and NEVER say anything you don't want someone else to know, because they will be the first to blab.

"I found Jesus, I'm saved"  NO YOU'RE NOT!!! ALL religions are the enemy of the true seeker, NO religion....then you're on the right path. Abandon them ALL!!!

11 In reply he said: “To YOU it is granted to understand the sacred secrets of the kingdom of the heavens, but to those people it is not granted. 


12 For whoever has, more will be given him and he will be made to abound; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 

13 This is why I speak to them by the use of illustrations, because, looking, they look in vain, and hearing, they hear in vain, neither do they get the sense of it; 

14 and toward them the prophecy of Isaiah is having fulfillment, which says, ‘By hearing, YOU will hear but by no means get the sense of it; and, looking, YOU will look but by no means see.

Destroy Your Beliefs

 I do not believe in believing.  That has to be understood first. Nobody asks me, 'Do you believe in rose flowers? There is no need.  You can see; the roseflower is there or it isn't. Only fiction, not facts, have to be believed.

Belief is comfortable, convenient; it dulls.  It is a  kind of drug; it makes you a zombie.  A zombie can be a Christian, \Hindu, Mohammedan - but they are all zombies, with different labels. And sometimes you get fed up with one label, so they change the label; the Hindu becomes a Christian, the Christian becomes  a Hindu, a new label, a fresh label, but behind the label the same belief system.

Destroy your beliefs. Certainly it will be uncomfortable, inconvenient but nothing valuable  is ever gained without inconvenience.

The descendants ( thoughts ) of your tormentors ( the physical, the intellectual and emotional natures ) will come and bow before you ( the soul).

Those ( the lower constitution as shown above ) who despised ( the lower mind despises the higher consciousness ) you will kiss your feet. Feet are a symbol of the lower mind, the kiss is the submission of the lower to the higher self.

They will call you the City of the LORD, and Zion of the Holy One of Israel.- Isaiah 60:14 The city is the center of your consciosness, once you have a renewed mind, it is called ZION, that's exactly what it means. Zion is another symbol of the higher mind, one that has had a kundalini experience.

I experience this illusion as a self-created prison. The bigger part of me created it all at once and I put myself in this character role to experience it frame by frame. The bigger part and I are one and the same! The storyline is set. My character role is set with limited creating in the storyline. You are all ME with a different appearance.

Free will doesn't exist. You only have the illusion of free will. Those who use law of attraction and other silliness are just buying into another TRAP of illusion.

Most people aren't aware this is a prison. "The best prison is the one the prisoner is NOT aware of".

Ignorance is truly bliss! Delusion is the name of the game. The ego plays a role in trickery and deception to maintain all illusions.

I believe the key to escaping this illusion is by not buying into any illusion...conspiracies...your weight...the "new age happy earth"....the religious nonsense....or other illusions...They are all traps including your intellect!

My task for you all is to REALLY PAY ATTENTION to everyone and everything around you. Become an observer and carefully see how everyone and everything around you is YOU with a different appearance. You'll be surprised and amazed at what you discover.


We are ONE consciousness playing a "movie in our ONE mind". We have split ourselves off into different roles but we are ONE and the same!

We have trapped ourselves here in illusion to forget who we are and that we don't exist. We want to exist and that's where egoic identification and egoic beliefs come in.

Want to escape? The key is in NOT buying into ANY and ALL illusions!

Even distrust your own perceptions because the mind/ego is designed to deceive!

SEEK WITHIN and you can break the ILLUSION of this OUTER WORLD, there you will be given.

Now that you understand the "matrix" is your own creation, you should try to BE the witness that is watching all pass by.

Are we just consciousness. Thoughts. That's it! Illusion isn't real. NO-THING. We are solely consciousness....we are NO-THING...just dreaming a dream...

Exiting will do you nothing because you go from one illusionary prison to the next


Not if you go through the gateless gate. The gateless gate is the inner kingdom.

I recommend reading the works of Richard Rose or Maharshi. Enlightenment is real, discovery of the Real Self is possible. Anything less than actual discovery is only postulation or intellectual banter.

Jesus said to them,

"When you make the two into one, and when you make the inner like the outer and the outer like the inner, and the upper like the lower, ) and when you make male and female into a single one, so that the male will not be male nor the female be female,6) when you make eyes in place of an eye, a hand in  place of a hand, a foot in place of a foot, an image in place of an image, 7) then you will enter [the kingdom]."
(Thomas 22:4-7)

Some have been abused, beaten and spat on for not being who we are suppose to be and carry that with them everyday in the depth of our body killing out very spirit and soul, many have come to enjoy it.


You have created a false identity of your self based on possessions, social hierarchy, hearsay of others and education level. We are not what people say we are and we are not words to be tossed to the sewer pit same as we are not greater than the least among us, not one of us.

Jesus 'glory' is in having transcended his human biological context (free of lower emotion/passions) and bringing forth the Christ, or the divine spark (regardless of nomenclature) that is at the root of all life.


True (or Higher) Self: The self we normally identify with is a fabrication of our ego (intended to replace what God made with a "new, improved" identity that better matches the EGO'S ideals of perfection). By design, the mask totally conceals the real face behind it.

But, although we may get caught up in the dramas of self-centered existence and even become totally identified with them, we can never reduce ourselves to mere ego. 


The most convincing proof of that is found in our true spiritual aspirations. If we were the egoic beings we may presume ourselves to be, we would never be motivated to recognize, respond to, and aspire to the realization of Truth, high ideals, and God.

When we talk about the True or Higher Self, we are referring to these higher levels of being:

Divine spiritual essence. At the highest level of our being lies the Spirit aspect of the human entity, the Divine essence of Life. That Spirit exceeds our individual personality and even the universal aspects of our humanity, and overlaps with God. It is an indivisible spark of infinite life and infinite consciousness.

People who are conscious at this level of being identify in a good way  with Godhead. This is the state in which the enlightened one ecstatically pronounces, "I am He!" and also, "World is God." Seeing the world is God is an experience that is actually beyond even the all-embracing qualities of self-same-Selfhood. It is perceiving the Absolute within the relative, and perceiving the relative AS the Unmanifest.

As we grow spiritually by releasing more and more ego, we progressively identify with more and more of our True Self nature.
   

Shiva Nataraja

Lord of the Cosmic Dance

The famed mythologist, Joseph Campbell, commented on Shiva Nataraja:



The upper right hand of the dancing god holds a little drum shaped like an hourglass, the rhythm of which is the world-creating beat of time, which draws a veil across the face of eternity, projecting temporality and thereby the temporal world.

The extended left hand holds the flame of spiritual light that burns the veil away, thus annihilating the world and revealing the void of eternity.

The second right hand is tin the “fear-dispelling” posture, and the second left, lifted across the chest, pointing to the raised left foot, is in a position known as “elephant hand,” signifying “teaching”, for where an elephant has gone through the jungles all animals can follow, and where a teacher leads the way disciples follow.


The left foot, to which the “teaching hand” points, is lifted to symbolize “release,” while the right stamping on the back of a dwarf named “Forgetfulness” drives souls into the vortex of rebirth.


The dwarf is gazing in fascination at the poisonous world-serpent, representing thus man’s psychological attraction to the realm of his bondage in unending birth, suffering, and death.


The god’s head, meanwhile is poised, serene and still, in the midst of all movement of creation and destruction represented in the rhythm of the rocking arms and slowly stamping right heel.

His right earring is a man’s, his left a woman’s, for he includes and transcends opposites.



His streaming hair is that of a yogi, flying now however in a dance of life,. Among its strands is tucked a skull, but also a crescent moon, a datura flower, from the plant of which an intoxicant is distilled, and finally, a tiny image of the goddess Ganges – for it is Shiva, we are told, who receives on his head the first impact of that heavenly stream as it falls to earth from on high.

From the mouth of a double-headed mythological water monster called a makara the flaming aureole issues by which the dance is enclosed; and the position of his head, arms, and lifted leg with this frame suggests the sign of the syllable OM.

 The contents of the upper two of Nataraja’s outstretched hands are meant to demonstrate the eternal balance between the forces of creation and those of destruction. In the upper right hand, Shiva holds the sacred damaru, a drum in the shape of an hourglass, with which Shiva beats out the rhythm of his dance and with it the ceaseless creation of the universe and all of its infinite forms.


This drum, writes Joseph Campbell, “is the drum of time, the tick of time which shuts out the knowledge of eternity,” as a result of which “we are enclosed in time.” Moreover, it is said to signify the primordial sound from which all things emanate, connoting in Heinrich Zimmer’s words “Sound, the vehicle of speech, the conveyer of revelation, tradition, incantation, magic, and divine truth.” 


Opposed to this force of creation as represented by the drum is the flame of extinction held in Shiva’s upper right hand. That flame symbolizes all of Shiva’s awesome powers of destruction, the terrible but necessary burning away of all things existing in time and space, the fire which, Campbell writes, “burns away the veil of time and opens our minds to eternity.”

    While the lower right hand is held in a palm-outward gesture said to signify the reassurance of the god that those approaching this image should “fear not,” the lower left hand is gracefully pointed downward in the classical dance position is known as “elephant hand,” signifying the concept of spiritual teaching.



“Where an elephant has gone through the jungles,” observes Cambpell, “all animals can follow, and where a teacher leads the way disciples follow.” Zimmer also points out that this hand gesture is also meant to remind us of the god Ganesha, Shiva’s son, who is called the “Remover of Obstacles.”

Several remains of Herod's stately temple have by recent explorations been brought to light. It had two courts, one intended for the Israelites only, and the other, a large outer court, called “the court of the Gentiles,” intended for the use of strangers of all nations. These two courts were separated by a low wall, as Josephus states, with thirteen openings.


Along the top of this dividing wall, at regular intervals, were placed pillars bearing in Greek an inscription to the effect that no stranger was, on the pain of death, to pass from the court of the Gentiles into that of the Jews. At the entrance to a graveyard at the northwestern angle of the Haram wall, a stone was discovered by M. Ganneau in 1871, built into the wall, bearing the following inscription in Greek capitals: “No stranger is to enter within the partition wall and enclosure around the sanctuary. Whoever is caught will be responsible to himself for his death, which will ensue.”

  The mystery of the kingdom of god

Mark 4:11--And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in parables:

Only for Those Who are Prepared to Receive

 Matthew 7:10 (KJ 7:6) And the mysteries of the kingdom ye shall keep within yourselves; for it is not meet to give that which is holy unto the dogs; neither cast ye your pearls unto swine, lest they trample them under their feet.

So where is the kingdom of god?

Look not lo here nor lo there, for the kingdom of god is WITHIN you!

Where? Within you! Not out there in outer space, but within you. And it says to know the mystery, what is the mystery, it is the mystery of yourself.

If you go within in meditation as jesus instructed, if not then you are without, outside the meditative state.

 Ezekiel 37:1-14 ESV


The hand of the Lord ( the directing principle of the higher mind ) was upon me, and he brought me out in the Spirit of the Lord ( one who has their consciousness raised up )and set me down in the middle of the valley ( valleys are lower levels of consciousness, the middle is between both hemispheres of the brain ); it was full of bones ( bones represent the dead animal personality that one has live in their whole lives ). 


And he led me around among them, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley ( the surface is a symbol that it's not too deep, one can still resurrect their dead animal personality ) , and behold, they were very dry ( dry is a symbol of the voidness of spirit, dwelling in ego consciousness ).



 And he said to me, “Son of man ( son of man is the mind that is in the process of being renewed by meditation ), can these bones live?” And I answered, “O Lord God, you know.” Then he said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. 


( this is the higher mind mind calling out to the lower mind to raise itself up and take no thought in meditation, prophesy means to take control of the lower emotions within you ) Thus says the Lord God to these bones: Behold, I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live. Breath means spirit, it means that the spirit of the higher has performed a cleansing of ones own lower self in meditation.


valleys

 Numbers 24:6  
    As the valleys are they spread forth, as gardens by the river's side, as the trees of lign aloes which the LORD hath planted, and as cedar trees beside the waters.

Valleys are lower levels of consciousness, the rivers edge is the consciousness that is of the lower, yet sitting right by the river of life, the human spine, it's like dying of thirst by a well. The trees are symbols of the nerves that branch out into the brain.  the lord god The higher essence of life planted cedar trees beside these flowing waters, the cerebro spinal system of the body, why cedar, because cedar expels insects and has a pleasing smell to the senses, everything has a meaning.


Deuteronomy 8:7  

    For the LORD thy God bringeth thee into a good land ( the higher mind flowing with milk and honey ), a land of brooks of water ( brooks of water are a symbol of the divine truth within ), of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; Fountains and depths shows the grace of this higher consciousness as it is deep within ones own nature, but you have to bring it forth. )


Deuteronomy 11:11  

    But the land, whither ye go to possess it, is a land of hills and valleys, and drinketh water of the rain of heaven: One has to overcome the valleys, ( the lower levels of mind, the rain of heaven is the truth manifest within in meditation. )


Joshua 9:1    
    And it came to pass, when all the kings which were on this side Jordan The Jordan represents the spinal fluid and the  spinal fluid therein, , in the hills, and in the valleys, and in all the coasts of the great sea over against Lebanon, the Hittite, and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite, heard thereof; The hills, the valleys the coasts are symbols of lower consciousness, these are inhabited by all the ites above, egoic consciousness. lebanon is a symbol of the lower mind.


Joshua 12:8   

    In the mountains, and in the valleys, and in the plains, and in the springs, and in the wilderness, and in the south country; the Hittites, the Amorites, and the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: The south is the physical nature with all of its passions and desires, every part of the mind mountains, valleys, plains, are consumed by the lower mind.


1 Kings 20:28  

    And there came a man of God, and spake unto the king of Israel, and said, Thus saith the LORD, Because the Syrians have said, The LORD is God of the hills, but he is not God of the valleys, therefore will I deliver all this great multitude into thine hand, and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

A Man of god is your own inner divine voice that speaks to you in meditation, this is the KING of Israel, Is Ra El means that that aspiring to the higher climbing the spiritual mount by the act of taking no thought in meditation.  The Syrians are again just a another symbol of the lower level of consciousness.

 Multitudes are symbols of your thoughts,the hand is gods mind, then you will know that your thoughts are being guided by the higher authority within you. 



 God is not the god of the valleys, because the valleys represent the lower carnal mind, " god is not subject to your carnal mind and neither can he be"


1 Chronicles 12:15   

    These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, The Jordan represents the spinal fluid as the electrical energy flows up the spine, the 1st month means the singularity of consciousness,  when it had overflown all his banks ( the spirit, electrical energy rising overflows the banks, fills ones own mind, ; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, the lower thoughts are no longer active in your mind, , both toward the east, and toward the west. east is the spiritual right hemisphere, and the West is the Intellectual left hemisphere of the brain.


1 Chronicles 27:29 
 
    And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:  Herds are symbols of the lower animal mind, that feed in Sharon, the higher aspects of mind, Shitrai and Sharonite are also symbols of the place that we are aspring to reach, yet right now, the cattle are feeding there, we have left the land barren, because we do not enter within in meditation.


Job 30:6 
  
    To dwell in the clifts of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.These are symbols of the thoughts of the mind that hide in ever crevice.


Job 39:10 
 
    Canst thou bind the unicorn with his band in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?


The higher aspect of mind calls out and asks can this UNICORN, the lower mind that has so much power over out thoughts, horns are symbols of power, the unicorn in this instance is the singularity of the ego centered mind and its grip over your thoughts, cant we bind this lower aspect of our own minds, band is a symbol of the strength this ego has over you, 

furrow, is the place this lower mind keeps planting seeds of lower thoughts, or will this mind harrow an instrument with spikes and teeth, a symbol of the higher mind fighting against ones own ego consciousness. Will this mind take after the lower levels of consciousness, valleys. All symbols of the the higher calling out to the lower, to raise itself up.


Do you see now what you are dealing with when you read the Bible? it's ALL about the mind.

Dan 11:24 He ( your higher mind ) shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places ( the fattest places is a symbol of the lower mind, fat is a symbol of the animal nature ) of the province ( province is a symbol of the mind ); and he shall do that which his fathers have not done ( who has ever attempted to operate from the higher, no one ), nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey ( the pray are all of the lower natured emotional thoughts ), and spoil, and riches ( spoils and riches are a symbol of conquering your lower thoughts ): yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time. 

( This is describing that the higher mind calls out to the lower that it will not be swayed by the lower emotions, even though it may be only for a short time, as we all cannot retain this mindset for a long time, but for a while is better than not at all, the stronghold is the ego with all of its trappings. )

 Genesis 32:31

    Just as he (your spiritual nature) crossed over Penuel ( the pineal gland of the brain ) the sun ( the higher mind ) rose on him, and he limped on his hip ( the hip is the place of desire, notice now that the desire nature has been broken, because it now has a limp, the desire nature lost it's power over your mind ).

The holy city is the earthly Jerusalem.

The forty and two months show that Jerusalem will be under Gentile control for three and one half years, probably the last half of the seven year Tribulation period, where the period of the Great Tribulation is seen as the Seventieth Week, or seven year period.



 Revelation 13 explains that the beast will place an image of himself in the temple and require the world to worship him. Revelation 13:5 says that this will go on for 42 months, which is 3 1/2 years. Since Daniel 9:27 says that this will happen in the middle of the week, and Revelation 13:5 says that the beast will do this for a period of 42 months, it is easy to see that the total length of time is 84 months or seven years.


 Also see Daniel 7:25, where the “time, times, and half a time” (time=1 year; times=2 years; half a time=1/2 year; total of 3 1/2 years) also refers to “great tribulation,” the last half of the seven-year tribulation period when the beast will be in power.

Matthew 19:9 "I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for marital unfaithfulness, and marries another woman commits adultery." Wouldn't this cause the man to be put to death?

Mark 10:11 "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery against her." Again, wouldn't he then be put to death since he would have committed adultery?

Mark 10:12 "And if she divorces her husband and marries another man, she commits adultery." Same question I ask about the women who are considered have committed adultery. Wouldn't they be put to death also?

Luke 16:18 "Anyone who divorces his wife and marries another woman commits adultery, and the man who marries a divorced woman commits adultery."

My question here is: Would an adulterer in the New Testament be put to death?


Keep in mind that when Jesus gave the above laws, he gave them during the time when he spoke highly of the Old Testament's Law:


Jesus orders Christians to follow the Old Testament's laws: "Do not think that I [Jesus] have come to abolish the Law (the Old Testament) or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke or a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law (the Old Testament) until everything is accomplished. (Matthew 5:17-18)" It is quite clear from these verses from the New Testament that Jesus peace be upon him did honor the Old Testament and did say that every single "letter" of it has to be honored, followed and fulfilled.


"Then Jesus said to the crowds and to his disciples: 'The teachers of the law and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat. So you must obey them and do everything they tell you. But do not do what they do, for they do not practice what they preach.' (Matthew 23:1-3)" We clearly see in these verses that Jesus peace be upon him did not prohibit for the Old Testament to be followed, but only warned his followers to not follow it the way the current religious leaders of the Law (the Jewish Rabies) were following it.

So according to Jesus peace be upon him, the adulterer in the New Testament must be put to death.

What about John 8:1-11? Does it really justify fornication, adultery and pornography as many Christians believe?

Let us look at John 8:1-11:

Many Christians use these verses to justify fornication and pornography. We all know well that the Bible contains the most disgusting Graphic X-Rated Pornography. And the use of John 8:1-11 does indeed raise a great concern to Morals and Ethics.

For one thing, it is the biggest mistake for the citizens of the Christian Whoredom to use John 8:1-11 as an excuse for the sexual sins they commit against GOD Almighty. When Jesus peace be upon him refused to stone the woman, HE ACTUALLY REFUSED TO BE A HYPOCRITE!


Have he ordered the stoning of the woman, he would have been indeed a hypocrite, because people in charge of authority back then were not following anything in the Law properly. He even called them "hypocrites" in several occasions; see Matthew 6:2, 5, 16, Matthew 15:7, Matthew 22:18, Matthew 23:13, 15, 23, 25, 27, 29, Matthew 24:51, Mark 7:6 and Luke 13:15 in the Bible. So why punish the weakest citizen and leave the cause of the corruption?! That was the Message that Jesus peace be upon him gave to the people back then. Notice that John 8:6 clearly says "They were using this question as a trap", which clearly means that the situation of John 8:1-11 was no more than a trap to make Jesus peace be upon him make a mistake. That's why HE DIDN'T ALLOW THEM TO OUT SMART HIM AND FORCE HIM TO GIVE ANY JUDGMENT AGAINST THE WOMAN. Jesus peace be upon him didn't in anyway nullify the Laws of GOD Almighty regarding punishment for adultery.

If a man happens to meet in a town a virgin pledged to be married and he sleeps with her, you shall take both of them to the gate of that town and stone them to death?the girl because she was in a town and did not scream for help, and the man because he violated another man's wife. You must purge the evil from among you. (Deuteronomy 22:23-24)

If a man or woman living among you in one of the towns the LORD gives you is found doing evil in the eyes of the LORD your God in violation of his covenant, and contrary to my command has worshiped other gods, bowing down to them or to the sun or the moon or the stars of the sky, and this has been brought to your attention, then you must investigate it thoroughly. If it is true and it has been proved that this detestable thing has been done in Israel, take the man or woman who has done this evil deed to your city gate and stone that person to death. (Deuteronomy 17:2-5)

If your very own brother, or your son or daughter, or the wife you love, or your closest friend secretly entices you, saying, "Let us go and worship other gods" (gods that neither you nor your fathers have known, gods of the peoples around you, whether near or far, from one end of the land to the other), do not yield to him or listen to him. Show him no pity. Do not spare him or shield him. You must certainly put him to death. Your hand must be the first in putting him to death, and then the hands of all the people. Stone him to death, because he tried to turn you away from the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. (Deuteronomy 13:6-10)

If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son who does not obey his father and mother and will not listen to them when they discipline him, his father and mother shall take hold of him and bring him to the elders at the gate of his town. They shall say to the elders, "This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious. He will not obey us. He is a profligate and a drunkard." Then all the men of his town shall stone him to death. You must purge the evil from among you. All Israel will hear of it and be afraid. (Deuteronomy 21:18-21)

'A man or woman who is a medium or spiritist among you must be put to death. You are to stone them; their blood will be on their own heads.' (Leviticus 20:27)
While the Israelites were in the desert, a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day. Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him. Then the LORD said to Moses, "The man must die. The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp." So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him to death, as the LORD commanded Moses. (Numbers 15:32-36)

But seat two scoundrels opposite him and have them testify that he has cursed both God and the king. Then take him out and stone him to death." (1 Kings 21:10)

The Bible even calls for the stoning of animals!

"If a bull gores a man or a woman to death, the bull must be stoned to death, and its meat must not be eaten. But the owner of the bull will not be held responsible. (Exodus 21:28)

So as one can see, the Bible is filled with verses that call for stoning, hence my question to Christians such as David wood is, from what basis do you attack Islamic law on stoning?  Sex-Based Inheritance Rules, Islamic Law, and the Old Testament


As I noted on the thread about the will calling for distribution “according to Islamic Laws and Sharia,” traditional Islamic law appears to call for sons to get double the share that daughters get. I should note, though, that Islamic law is in this respect better for women than is Old Testament law.

Numbers 27:8-11 provides,

Say to the Israelites, “If a man dies and leaves no son, give his inheritance to his daughter. If he has no daughter, give his inheritance to his brothers. If he has no brothers, give his inheritance to his father’s brothers. If his father had no brothers, give his inheritance to the nearest relative in his clan, that he may possess it. This is to have the force of law for the Israelites, as the LORD commanded Moses.”

This has been read as providing that daughters do not inherit at all if there are any living sons (though apparently they are entitled to some support from the estate, and to payment of wedding expenses). As best I can tell, some Orthodox jewish people continue to endorse this rule.

Now, as I mentioned in my original post, I think (1) a person should be free to leave his property as he sees fit (subject to the duties to provide for a widow or widower, or for minor children while they are minors), whether he does for religious reasons or not, and (2) courts should generally not enforce provisions that call for the courts to apply religious law, at least in the many situations where the law may well be controversial given different modern religious views (e.g., “distribute my property according to Islamic Laws and Sharia [or Jewish Law]” would not be allowed, though “give my two sons 1/3 each and my two daughters 1/6 each [or give my son everything and my daughters nothing]” would be allowed). I don’t want to rehash these matters here. Also, I think (3) the better rule — the more morally sound rule, and more socially beneficial rule — is for people to treat their sons and daughters equally in such matters (though, as item 1 suggests, I certainly don’t think this should be a legally binding rule).


But here I just want to note that the Koran passages, as traditionally understood, are actually better for daughters than the Old Testament passages, as traditionally understood. To the extent that women are treated better today with regard to inheritance in many Christian and Jewish circles than in many Muslim circles, I think this stems not from the underlying scripture, but from the way that modern Christian and Jewish culture has generally evolved. That may be obvious to many readers, but in my experience many people claim that Islam is inherently worse in various ways than, say, Christianity or Judaism, because the Koran is inherently worse in various ways than the New Testament or the Old Testament or the combination of the two; I’m skeptical about such claims, and I’d be especially skeptical of such an explanation here.

6 When a man ( one aspect of mind) shall take hold of his brother ( brother is a symbol of the mind that adheres to higher activity or lofty thoughts) of the house ( the house is ones own consciousness) of his father ( the highest aspect of mind), saying, Thou hast clothing ( clothings are symbols of ego coverings that must be removed), be thou our ruler, and let this ruin be under thy hand: (Here God will ruin this ego mind)

7 In that day shall he swear ( the ego giving up control of the five senses), saying, I will not be an healer; for in my house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people. ( the Ego giving up it's power over the psyche)

8 For Jerusalem is ruined ( Jerusalem is the higher mind), and Judah is fallen ( Judah is the right hemisphere of the brain): because their tongue and their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory. (For the mind that clings to the material life, the sense and desire nature, these aspects of the higher are dead within you)

9 The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom ( sin is the emotions, and sodom is the root chakra, operating from the lower emotions), they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves. Again, ones consciousness controlled by lower quality egoic thoughts )


10 Say ye to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for they shall eat the fruit of their doings. KARMA

11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands ( hands is a symbol of the directing principle of mind) shall be given him.

14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and the princes thereof: for ye have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of the poor is in your houses. The vineyard is a symbol of divine truth within, the ancients ( the ego ) has eaten up gods truth within.
15 What mean ye that ye beat my people to pieces, and grind the faces of the poor? saith the Lord GOD of hosts. What right do you have ( ego ) to destroy the poor in spirit and grinding the faces, the face is a symbol of consciousness.

16 Moreover the LORD saith, Because the daughters of Zion, Zion is a symbol of ones consciousness, the daughters are symbols of the lower emotions that have taken over the conscious awake mind ) are haughty, and walk with stretched forth necks ( again you see the pride of the ego, as one that walks haughty and with necks stretched out like Jimmy swaggart ) and wanton eyes, walking and mincing as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet: 

The feet are a symbol of the lower egoic mind, the tinklings are a symbol of the noise that one makes when operating from ego consciousness, they make much noise and fanfare as they go about.
17 Therefore the Lord will smite with a scab the crown of the head of the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.

This is the intervention of the higher self or or divine principle working within the mind, the scab is a symbol of the hurt that has come upon the mind, the wound from ego mindset and consciousness of a person, and notice where god will smite this the crown of the head, deep within ones conscious mind, the secret place of ego consciousness )

18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,

( In that day, the day of your enlightenment, the higher self takes away or strips the ego from the control of the thoughts of the mind, and notice again the ornamnents of the feet, again, a symbol of the lod boiterous ego, and their Cauls, cauls is a symbol of th Fat that covers the liver, a covering one's animal nature that is taken away,

Tire is a symbol of a head covering, to cover the head in a spiritual sense, not a literal one, means to cap off the seventh crown chakra and keep the ego in control of ones consciosuness.

( the chains and bracelets and mufflers which is an expensive scarf worn around the neck, all these are just more symbols of the ego, the physical body with all of it's ornaments, ego coverings that must be stripped away, as we are stand naked before god ( devoid of ego )

What is a WIMPLE

To cause to appear as if laid in folds or plaits; to cause to ripple
or undulate; as, the wind wimples the surface of water.

A wipmple then is folds or pleats, again we see deep symbolism of the layered ego )

The main idea is that of a covering such as a cloak or other article of clothing. Clothing in the bible are symbols of ego coverings.

( Isaiah 3:22 ) The original word means some kind of female ornament, probably a reticule or richly ornamented purse, often made of silk inwrought with gold or silver.


 It is rendered "bag"

A neglect of beauty becomes men, Theseus bore off the daughter of Minos, though his temples were bedecked by no crisping-pin.

Crisping pin, a bag or purse carried by women, women are symbols of the emotions, the bag or purse is a symbol of the mind that carries around all these churning emotions.

Sackcloth is a symbol of the mind that is entrained in the darkness of the egoic mind

 The ego that destroys or keeps one from attaining the higher mind, men meanss mind, swords are symbols of the power of ego in this mythology) mighty men of war, are symbols of the full blown egoic mind that will not surrender to the higher divine authority of mind.

The spirit is left desolate ( desolation is a symbol of the mind without the higher mind control, she sits up on the ground, the ground is a symbol of the lower aspects of mind.
