From the Emerald Tablet
The Light within
List ye, O man, while I speak of the future, speak of the effect that follows the cause. Know ye that man in his journey light-ward is ever seeking escape from the night that surrounds him, like the shadows that surround the stars in the sky and like the stars in the sky-space, he, too, shall shine from the shadows of night.
Alchemical texts should not be read literally and their content is purely allegorical and mystical. The studies of Carl Gustav Jung show it is possible to detect correspondences between alchemy and mysticism: the alchemist himself, too, was to live through the process of transmutation, and become transformed as a result.
If you've tried to understand the alchemical and Hermetic traditions from primary sources, or translations thereof, you have probably been very frustrated. Those sources are not written to be read by the uninitiated or even the semi-initiated.
If the light that is in you has matured through many incarnations, the light which is engraved in the tablets will respond.
If not, they won't
YOU ARE GOD
By incarnating God must become man in order to discover what human consciousness is like and to enlighten his own darkness by the light he might discover in the human spirit, The incarnation of God is a step taken by God because he recognizes that it might benefit him to assimilate the superior qualities present in the soul and spirit. Jung states unequivocally that God had to become man because he had done him an injustice.
The Bible is a book of LIGHT just like the Emerald Tablet, it is a book talking about the light that you are inhabiting that physical body, religion calls this light a soul, it is specifically Electromagnetism, it is a PHOTON, that is who you are.
The Bible refers to this light as the prodigal son, this son/sun resides in the solar plexus or bottomless pit, it's your job to bring it forth up the spine in meditation.
Because Christians are yet carnal they cling to the outer dead teachings of the Bible, commonly called the DEAD LETTER, in doing so, they totally miss the message of the indwelling light, instead of understanding the metaphysical truth, they falsely believe that they are magically saved, nothing could be farther from the truth.
If the light that is in you has matured through many incarnations, the light which is in the bible will respond. If not, it won't, the Bible will remain a nonsensical history book, the pages of the Bible will be as concentrating on the finger instead of the moon, then you will miss all the heavenly glory. To read ancient scripture LITERALLY is likened to taking the husks for the kernel, the chaff instead of the wheat.
If when you read the Bible and it does not respond to YOU as a purely spiritual book, then the LIGHT is put out, and there may be no hope for you in this incarnation, you still have much milk drinking to partake in first. Maybe next time around.
The Bible is no different than the Emerald Tablet, the Baghavad Gita, the Upanishad and other books of LIGHT.
When a person is ready for the higher spiritual truth, then they will get the message, if they are not ready they will step on it and cling to the outer darkness of the literal reading, declaring anyone that says that Jesus never existed as a literal person is a sinner and is going to hell.
The contents of the Bible were originally mystery school teachings, and only available to a person that was deemed mature enough and ready to understand the higher truth, the message in the bible was never meant for the carnally minded natural man or woman (the entire Christian world).
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? (1Corintihians 3:16)
Remember, to be carnally-minded is death, and to be spiritually-minded is life eternal. (2Nephi 9:39)
Carnally minded means reading ancient spiritual scriptures LITERALLY.
Carnal versus Spiritual Understanding. Speaking in very general terms, there are two opposing ways to look at things. Again, the phrases "carnally minded" versus "spiritually minded" are sometimes used. Other times, words such as "external" versus "internal", or "profane" versus "holy" are used.
Those who have a tendency to view things in a carnal fashion usually see things on a outward or literal level. The perceptions are filtered through the senses rather than the spirit. This is as a result of fallen man being of a carnal nature, or a creature of the senses who, by virtue of partaking of the Tree of Knowledge, believes that all things can be judged outwardly.
An illustration of judging things outwardly, or by the senses, is portrayed in the conversation of Jesus with Nicodemus, a religious leader who sought Jesus by night… "Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? …How can these things be?" (See John 3:1-12).
In carnal versus spiritual understanding, there is really a fundamental difference in basic philosophy. Carnal man works from the outside in; Spiritual man works from the inside out.
Carnal man is always looking for things outside of himself and is thereby always trying to improve his outer environment, thinking that this will bring him happiness. He has a tendency to externalize everything. He feels that outward saving ordinances and performances like those done in temples must be of the utmost importance over everything else.
Spiritual man realizes that the inner cup (his soul) is to be cleansed first, then all things will be added. So, he internalizes (meditates) the search for that which is thought to be found externally by carnal man. Spiritual man understands that all ordinances are only outward symbols of what should have already occurred within himself. But, to him, it is the inner counterparts of the outer ordinances that are most important.
Thus, to carnal man, ‘being born of the water’ is a dunking process. To spiritual man it is the rebirth of the inner self or soul. The carnal man never understands the parable and the allegory, to him that kind of language is of the devil, he wants things easy as in a literal reading, however the spiritual man sees the scriptures as pure spiritual science written as a language for the soul in allegorical fashion. The bible was written for latter type.
To a carnal man, the temple takes on an undue importance that overshadows other things. He sees it as an important place that he must go. He attends regularly to do work for his kindred dead, but does not realize that it is he himself who is found among the (spiritually) dead or that the work he does in the temple is more for his own benefit than for his ancestors. He speaks of the temple often, hangs pictures of it in his home, and gets angry when others do not show as much reverence for the building as he does.
Spiritual man realizes that the temple edifice is no more than a symbol of himself and that he is a walking temple of God as said in the scriptures (cf. 1 Corintihians 3:16). Spiritual man realizes that God can create a building much more grand than the best built by human hands.
But, to create a son of Man is much more difficult and that this is the work of creation and Glory of the Fathers. He respects the building, but sees it as a symbol of himself and does not revere it excessively. He loves others, despite their words or actions, because he sees them as God’s grandest creation (true temples). Spiritual man is a temple that is built without hands.
At some point in his worldly experience, carnal man will begin to realize that he is mistaken in his perception of the temple being a man-made structure (a building) and will begin to realize it is "made without hands."
At this time, he may even think that he has found the full truth, but it is not over yet because he may still labor under many of his former misconceptions. In realizing that he is the temple spoken of, carnal man may begin to think that the true temple must be his physical body.
However, at this point carnal man is still caught up in the forms, though he doesn't yet know it. Ultimately, time, sad experience and careful consideration of the idea will bring him to an understanding of his error in identifying himself with his physical body. He will begin to realize that he is not the body, therefore the temple, which is said to be him, must be something else that is in the body. As he does this, he will begin to revisit questions that he once considered solved such as asking who is he.
Carnal man sees the creation parable (in the endowment) little more than a historical account of the creation of the earth outside of him and how man came to be. He sees the fall of man as a literal event caused by eating from a certain tree that was prohibited. He sees the way back to God in the context of all the things that he must DO rather than what he must BE.
Spiritual man realizes that all that is taught in the endowment is about he, himself. He realizes that he is the man Adam spoken of in the creation story. On a deeper level of understanding, he understands that man is a trinity composed of body, mind, and spirit, and realizes that Adam represents an aspect his own mind and that Eve represents another aspect of his mind/self, the emotions or spirit.
He sees that this is why Eve must be subject to Adam because the body must be subject to the spirit, otherwise there is death. He understands that God is a part of this trinity and that he (Adam; the spirit) can hear his voice if he will enter within.
Carnal man sees the true order of prayer as an outward rite that he is convinced will surely make his voice heard by God, despite the Bible admonishing you not pray in public and use vain ramblings. He ignores the warning given in the scripture that when Adam speaks aloud and calls upon God, that Lucifer shows up and responds "I hear you!" Which means the fallen spirit into the physical body.
Spiritual man realizes that the true order of prayer is symbolic of what occurs within himself when he enters within himself in meditation and silences the inner world, for a period.
He knows that Peter represents the voice of his spirit and that Adam and Eve (in the circle) represent his mind and emotions. He realizes that he must retire to the secret place (Meditation in darkness) for prayer (Matthew 6:6) and that when his spirit and body become one and are united in prayer/meditation after the true order, then it is heard by God!
Carnal man lives in fear of the bogey man, and that some on high will punish him if he steps out of line. He believes that when times get tough, he can save himself by his external preparations (eg. food storage), but is always fearful (rightfully so) that he has not prepared enough. He suspects that the ‘holy place’ spoken of by Jesus (Matthew 24:15) means a place in the temple (man made building), but he cannot fathom how all can get crowded into the temple when the Abomination that makes Desolate appears.
Spiritual man lives by wisdom and knowledge and finds that perfect wisdom casts out all fear. He knows that true peace begins within himself and that the ‘holy place’ spoken of is his own mind. He does not fear what happens externally, because he knows that whatever happens will be for his own profit and learning. He takes no thought (meditates on the silence of the interior) for the morrow, but relies totally on God (Matthew 6:25-34).
Carnal man is continually trying to subdue the world around him and is thereby continually at war with it. He believes that he must tame the hostile world over which the Father has given him dominion. He is always searching for new knowledge that will help him accomplish this and in so doing, he is "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." (2Timothy 3:7)
Carnal man is always searching for heaven, but never seems to be able to find it, he no inkling as to where it really is. He is confused when others cry "Lo here here is the kingdom of heaven!" But, carnal man eventually chooses one of them and becomes convinced that the way he has chosen is the correct one and that all others are in error. He trusts in the arm of the flesh and never finds heaven because he looks in the wrong place.
Spiritual man realizes that the creation parable teaches him that the new earth over which Adam is given dominion symbolizes his own renewed mind. He realizes that he has been given dominion to overcome the "lusts of the flesh" and make his world (body) a celestial abode. When others cry "Lo here", he is unmoved, for he does not seek externally for the kingdom of God, for he realizes that it is found within.
He comprehends the words spoken by Jesus that "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation: Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21). He searches diligently in the correct place (WITHIN, as Jesus said) and ultimately finds what he seeks.
Blood Sacrifice, Circumcision, and Destroying the Enemies of God. Nearly all are familiar with accounts of animal sacrifices, circumcision rites, and neighbor-killing of the Old Testament. Of course, these were the rites carried out by a fallen and lost people rather than the opposite. One might wonder how these could be considered "holy acts" in any sense at all. What appears to be explicit instructions (commandments) by God to "sacrifice the beast" were taken by the fallen Israelites to literally mean the slaying of innocent animals rather than the slaying of the beast within man.
The rite of circumcision was applied literally to cutting of foreskins (of innocent children no less) rather than being taken to mean to circumcise the (profane) heart and mind. The slaying of ones enemies was made into a literal process of complete genocide on the (so-called) outward enemy rather than being understood as a symbol of the enemy that exists within. Carnal man is always looking everywhere but within himself for the problems he encounters in his sojourn. It is often someone else who is most innocent that is caused to suffer for this lack of understanding.
Of course, the Old Testament also records that God did not favor the Israelites for their misdeeds, reading their Books Literally and killing literal beasts instead of those that inhabit the interior of mans minds.
When God proclaimed to the Israelites that (your) " burnt offerings are not acceptable" (Jeremiah 6:20), the usual reaction from fallen carnal men is that they were not performing the act in the proper and acceptable form.
Despite the clear rejection of animal sacrifices by God (cf. Isaiah 1:11-15
"To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? saith the LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats Bring no more vain oblations your hands are full of blood."), carnal mans usual response is to renew his effort to get it right next time, even though he ends up mistakenly doing what he has been doing all along. What got carnal man into trouble is what keeps him in trouble.
At the risk of belaboring what should be obvious and being too repetitive, lack of understanding is really what it is about. In focusing on the outer image (the literal), carnal man lives out his existence (in the present time and place) in darkness (outer darkness). Of course, the phrase "outer darkness" is a redundant (two witness) phrase, since "outer" (which means "carnal", "sensual", "devilish", "profane", etc) is also synonymous with "darkness".
Carnal man thinks that the important battles are to be fought against a supposed enemy that is outside of himself.
As a result, he is always killing his neighbors and neglects the most important task of purifying himself (from within). He doesn't realize that the most difficult and rewarding battles he is to fight will be within his own soul/mind and the beast that is to be slain (in acceptable sacrifice) is within himself. As a result, he goes on being his-own-worst-enemy and keeps failing to offer the acceptable sacrifice of a broken heart and a contrite spirit.
Despite his best efforts at better performance (more perfect obedience), he keeps finding that what he does brings the same result as it did the first time. He remains in his own self-created ego lone and dreary world of "outer darkness" until he finally reaches a frustration point sufficiently high that it breaks his pride and vanity.
In the process, he fights the well talked-about, but little understood, "battle of Armageddon" in his own soul until the Christ reigns victorious. This is the ultimate path walked by carnal man which purifies him. There will be an event come up in his life that causes him to reach the end of his rope. Ultimately, this strips him of pride and vanity and renders him as teachable as a young child. This is the very thing that happened to Abraham as told in the story of acceptable sacrifice.
Only when you become as a child (egoless), can you enter the kingdom of heaven.
In the Genesis story of Abraham, this "only son" the ego, (the vain an proud mind) caught in the thicket (frustration) by the horns (symbol of christ power). Abraham (the intellect), sacrifices his "only son" the ego, his most important creation, finally realizes what is happening. He is stripped of his pride and vanity and recognizes this ram (the pineal gland) as the power from above (the higher consciousness) that must be in place of the ego (his son)
That which was placed first has become last and that which was last is now occupying the rightful place.
Abraham (the higher intellect) has become a holy (whole) mind, having made the acceptable sacrifice, his ego nature. He has finally come to understand (comprehend) what God had been saying to him for so long, that the enemy is within you, that the House of the Lord to be cleansed is synonymous with the Temple of God, that the Lord will come quickly to His Temple.
And it is all about you (the House/Temple of God) in the present time and present place. Bring me you first born (the physical/ego nature), and sacrifice it unto god at the altar of the mind in meditation, and god will replace it with a ram, the symbol of Jesus, who is the lamb of god that takes away the sins (lower emotions) of the world.
The mistake of viewing the scriptural parables as history has already been covered, so it might not be productive to cover it again here. Briefly, this idea is that scriptural parables are about the present rather than the past.
In terms of the Creation Parable, we are mislead in our belief that it is a literal story (a history) of a past event, past place, and past people. However, it is much more profound when these scriptural stories are seen as a symbolic devices which describe what is going on now rather than what went on in another place and time.
In realization of the true self (God within), he becomes one with God. He is said to "know" God. This is what Jesus meant when he said that the Kingdom of Heaven "cometh not by observation, but is within" and that eternal life is to "know God, the higher state of consciousness".
One might notice that there is a great curse built into scriptural teachings that come in the form of parables and paradoxes. Yet, this curse is also a great blessing. Carnal man, who filters everything through the outward senses, rarely looks beyond the literal meanings. Outward meanings are often erroneous and are said to be carnal, sensual (of the worldly senses), or profane.
However, one eventually understands that these too are a great blessing, just as the ground was cursed for the sake (ie a blessing) of Adam. One reason is because these profane understandings provide the enmity (dissatisfaction) that ultimately lead one to search for things deeper. If one could find satisfaction in the profane, then one would never seek the spiritual.
Although Jesus spoke to all in parables, he often expounded the meanings of the parables privately unto his disciples. This by itself is another parable. It is symbolic of the Spirit (Christ) within each of us that gives the individual the key to all mysteries.
When one begins to realize that words are symbols, and symbols are higher communication, then one begins to emerge from the state of mind that holds him in bondage. Eventually, he even sees beyond words as language and ultimately realizes that all truth is symbolized in the very creation that surrounds us. Ultimately, one realizes the source of all and comprehends all mysteries. Yet, they are only mysteries because we don't understand the obvious.
Satan is the Ego, the enemy of god, which is an aspect of his own self.
So the whole while you are wondering who the enemy is when the whole time the enemy is that aspect about you that is wondering who the enemy is. Hidden within yourself!!!
You are your own worst enemy, because of your pride and stubbornness.
The rehabilitation of the lost meaning of the sacred books of old properly begins with the revelation of the cryptic connotation of two words in the Bible whose true interpretation will in a flash work a miracle of re-enlightenment in all minds and will in one vivid moment of new realization transform the entire structure of religion and theology.
The whole rationale of religious conception, so far as it is based on the authority of Bible literature, will undergo a complete and astonishing reorientation when the great light released by the proper esoteric sense of the words Jesus and light. The discovery of their meaning, hidden for twenty centuries.
Jesus IS the light or electromagnetism that is nested in your solar plexus and animating your body. It has many names, Jesus, Satan, Lucifer, the Devil Baal, and many many more. The place where this light (you) are located is in Babylon, Egypt, Sodom, Gaza, and many many more names in the bible.
SCRIPTURES of Thomas:
His disciples said: Teach us concerning the place where thou art, for it is necessary for us to seek after it. He said to them: He that hath ears, let him hear. There is a light within a man of light, and it gives light to the whole world. If it does not give light, there is darkness.
Jesus said: If they say to you: Whence have you come?, tell them: We have come from the light, the place where the light came into being through itself alone. It [stood], and it revealed itself in their image. If they say to you:
Who are you?, say: We are his sons, and we are the elect of the living Father. If they ask you: What is the sign of your Father in you?, tell them: It is a movement and a rest.
John 8:12 & 9:5 Then spake Jesus again unto them saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."&"As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.
1 John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all, but he lakes darkness his secret place.
Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
Notice it says YE, (you) are the LIGHT of the world, it doesn't say that you are a worthless sinner, it says YOU are the LIGHT of the world, it also says God is LIGHT, and it says that Jesus is LIGHT.
SO, you're LIGHT, God is LIGHT and Jesus is LIGHT
The verse below, is very much disliked by the church and you can see why?
Jesus said: I am the light that is over them all. I am the All; the All has come forth from me, and the All has attained unto me.
The kingdom of god is inside you and all around you, not in mansions made of wood and stone Cleave a (piece of) wood: I am there. Raise up the stone, and ye shall find me there.
Modern Science finds GOD
Islam Finds God HERE
There was a time when science seemed to be the enemy of religious belief? that time is no more! Modern physics and cosmology (science of the origin and development of the universe) now provide firm objective evidence of the existence of God, confirm the primary attributes of God, and show how God created the physical existence out of nothingness.
This knowledge comes from a critical analysis of the Big Bang theory, Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity, and work being done in quantum physics. The concepts behind this esoteric scientific knowledge can now be presented in such a way as to be understood by any person with a modern education.
We now know according to the most widely accepted theories of cosmology that the physical universe we see today was created out of nothingness (meaning ? no time, no space, and no matter).
We also know that the beginning of the creation of the universe took place by light coming into existence at a singularity (a point with no dimension).
The great significance of the above findings is that they destroy any possible notion of the physical universe existing as a fixed number of material particles which are moved about by a fixed set of physical laws. It is exactly this incorrect understanding of the physical existence which forms the basis of the scientific philosophy of materialism.
It is the philosophy of materialism, particularly secular materialism, which has allowed the belief in God to be so powerfully challenged by unbelievers in these past few hundred years, more or less from the time of Sir Isaac Newton.
It is no longer intellectually possible nor logically reasonable, in light of the finding of modern physics and cosmology, to hold the view of the atheists (that there is no God).
The only logically reasonable, and intellectually honest, conclusion that can be drawn from the findings of modern science is that God does exist, that the attributes of God are absolute, and that God did create the physical universe . We are presently at the beginning of the transition point from a secular materialistic world-view to a spiritual, God-centered world-view.
(We know that the matter of the physical universe was brought into being by photons (little packages of light energy) which, when colliding with each other, formed the virtually infinite number of protons, neutrons and electrons, which in various combinations make up everything in our physical world.
In essence we can now accurately say that all the matter of the physical universe, ourselves included, is actually light slowed down.
We know that the space which contains our physical universe is expanding. This is a concept so alien to human thought that until Albert Einstein developed his General Theory of Relativity early in the 20th century it had never occurred to any of the world's great minds, but was stated in the Quran over 1400 years ago when Allah told us, I am expanding the universe with my power.
Even Einstein was so astounded by his discovery that he falsified his data to show a universe that was not expanding, because he well understood that an expanding universe implies there was somewhere in the distant past a moment of creation for the universe.
Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity (which he actually called his Absolutism Theorem because he realized he had found the one thing in a relative universe that was absolute) is about the special qualities of light.
The Special Theory of Relativity allows us our first objective glimpse into that which exists beyond the material world.
We could have found anything once we got our first glimpse beyond the material world, but what we did find is indeed remarkable. We find Einstein's Special Theory of Relativity showing us that the non-material existence beyond the physical world consists only of absolutes, and some of those absolutes are remarkably similar to what everyone?s religion has considered to be among the primary attributes of God.
Example One: As the speed of light (300,000km per second) or 186,400 miles per second ( which coincidentally happens to be the number of the tribe Judah in the Bible is approached then time slows, and at the speed of light time does not pass. This means for a photon of light which travels at exactly the speed of light, time does not pass. Therefore the photon is outside of time, and ETERNAL.
( Consider that the bible says that the the tribe of Judah, faced EAST the rising SUN, this is symbolic of light, and the verse goes on to say that the number of the tribe of Judah is 186,400. Incredibly yes, and it's in the bible in the book of numbers.) Coincidence?
Example Two: Since no time passes for a photon of light, and that photon can be observed at different places in space, therefore that photon of light is simultaneously in those different places (and many other places) at the same time, and therefore OMNIPRESENT.
Example Three: Since every bit of matter in the physical universe is created by the energy of light, and that light energy constantly sustains and directs the activity of every bit of matter in the physical existence, then there is no power other than the power of light, light energy is all the power that exists, and therefore OMNIPOTENT.
Example Four: Since all knowledge that exists, that ever existed, or will exist, is stored by light energy and transmitted through light energy then there is no knowledge beyond that intrinsic to light, and therefore OMNISCIENT.
Furthermore, light does not actually exist within the physical existence although we can somehow perceive it. As you approach the speed of light one of the three dimensions (length, height, or width), the dimension in line with the direction of motion, becomes progressively less, and at the speed of light that dimension becomes zero.
To determine volume we multiply height times width times length, but if any one of those three dimensions is zero then the volume is zero, and that thing therefore does not exist in the material universe. Light occupies no volume of space and therefore has no existence in the physical universe.
And, while everything in the physical universe has some mass greater than zero, which is a necessary characteristic for existence in the material world, light has no mass at all. As you approach the speed of light mass increases, at the speed of light mass is infinite.
Regardless of how tiny the amount of mass you begin with, that mass rises to infinity at the speed of light. Since photons travel at the speed of light and do not reach infinite mass it means that they had zero mass to begin with, and light therefore does not actually exist in the material world.
In the physical existence everything is relative, the absolute existence or non-existence of any quality is not and can not be expressed, everything exists between those two extremes of the continuum from absolute
expression to absolute non expression. We find, though, that beyond the material existence all qualities exist either in an infinite state or have no existence at all, there is nothing in between.
These are only some of the simplified conclusions of a major work in progress, but we felt they are of such great significance that we had an obligation to offer them to the ummah (the human society of God's Creation).
The scientific facts behind these interpretations represent a virtual consensus by a number of the world's leading physicists, including several Nobel Prize winning theoretical physicists.
The interpretations themselves are at the cutting-edge of Islamic theological thought, but have so far been very warmly received by Muslim scholars across the world.
Science has now revealed to you the nature of what we call GOD
PHOTON! Believe it, because it's true.
Einstein said that light (photons) enters the earth at an angle, nothing comes to the earth save an occasional meteor, airplane, or fallen satellite except ANGLES of LIGHT, and light which is PHOTONS are magnetism vibrating at a frequency both visible and invisible.
Einstein said these photons are MESSENGER particles, in other words photons are capable of storing sending and receiving information, already proven in the laboratory. The bible says that angels were God's messengers, science says angles of light are messengers, we can see clearly now.
Dr. Michio Kaku an quantum physicist said. that when you smash all material particles in a particle accelerator, the only thing left is LIGHT. He then said LIGHT (Photons) cannot be broken down any further, changed nor interfered with in any way.
If you watch the photon, the wave particle, your act of observing it collapses it's wave function to a microdot, if you collapse the waves coming in from the zodilogical light the 12 from above, and receive it.
(I make darkness my secret place, says God) you will be communicating with God (the Universe) the 24 elders will be present in the TEMPLE. The 12 above, going into your 12 cranial nerves. The all, the all consciousness. Believe it or NOT!
The bottom line is this; someone who calls them self a Christian and claims to be saved, is in fact NOT saved, and is NOT going anywhere, other than to comeback and reincarnate (take another body) and try again.
You know who Satan is? It's anyone who doubts the power of LOVE. If you think there's anyway any power can conquer LOVE then you have Satan in you. Satan is doubt, fear, ignorance, and most of all, bondage to religious cults.
When I hear someone screaming "Satan!" from the pulpit, they are preaching for Satan, because they are sowing fear. When some well-meaning kind believer tells me that if I don't believe like they do I will go to "Hell", they are Satan, wanting me to share in their fear.
When I know I should show kindness and tolerance and I hear some xtian talking about how their god destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah because of gay people and therefore god hates gay people and so should we, it is Satan ( the Ego), that makes me want to slap them silly.
God has a universal case of "multiple personality disorder" or "dis associative identity disorder," and none of the personalities are aware that they're all emanations of one source.
That "Anonymous" god-believer should educate him-/herself. To BELIEVE (what's that btw ???) that some space-commanders (elohim = plural) thousands of years ago (up to 17.000 years ore even more) would be watching over each and every persons life today is simply hilarious! The only ones controlling us are Google and the like, surveillance-cameras in the streets and Your VISA-Card etc. No gods there - we only trade our freedom for convenience...
I guess some people don't want to grow up and need a big daddy until they die. That's what the religions provide for. I am a woman - and I have been suspicious of those exclusive boys-clubs from the beginning. God=male, angels=male, kings in the bible=male, prophets=male, savior=male. BIG GRIN
Wake up, grow up, respect those who respect life - and respect Yourself!
Like everyone else, you were born into bondage, born inside a prison that cannot smell, taste or touch. A prison for your mind. Unfortunately, no one can told what the matrix is. (we are born into the bondage of the flesh, and it is a hard row to how, living in this physical existence, without understanding the laws that govern it. Like the law of attraction, etc...The prison, is always the body, the flesh, as the soul is imprisoned in the flesh, and seeks to escape, or overcome it's vices
You have to see it for yourself.
The Matrix is serving the oldest and most respectable, most revered, cause of art: that of enlightening the populace, by means both profound and ridiculous, to the Truth. Perhaps one in a thousand of those who see the movie will recognize or even notice its Gnostic tenets; but regardless of this, everyone who sees the film has effectively been exposed to them. In the case of The Matrix, the work is simply too inspired and effective (and affecting) to be anything but a work of revelation, a master piece of the day.

"The enemy that we face, which has haunted our world for millennia, will not concede of its own will. It will not yield or even give ground", for the only enemy that ever existed is one's own mind, right there in one's own field of consciousness.
You are no better off in this body or out of the body if you have not found that center path to put you back into contact with mother.
You must overcome the desire to be a part of this system instead of being a part of the system of light. The Elusian mysteries state that you will carry with you into the invisible world those same desires that you cannot gratify here.
There is this need or desire to remain a part of the cult, the family, the tradition, and until you are ready to shut down everything that they believe and instead find that light you are carried down into the depths by Pluto or Hades and you feel like hell.
Conservative Christians generally believe that all adult heathens are dammed eternally if they die without knowledge of the Gospel. It is regarded less sacrilegious if the faithless doubt the personal existence of the Holy Ghost or the God-head of Jesus than to question the character of the devil and to fear the devil.
When the zealots of the primitive Christian Church sought to Christianize paganism, the initiates of the ‘Wisdom Schools’ answered with a counter offensive to paganize Christianity.

ON RELIGION
Conservative Christians generally believe that all adult heathens are dammed eternally if they die without knowledge of the Gospel. It is regarded less sacrilegious if the faithless doubt the personal existence of the Holy Ghost or the God-head of Jesus than to question the character of the devil and to fear the devil.
There would be no more God fearing Christians if Satan did not exist. Satan is far more significant to the Catholic Church than the Jesus of Revelation riding on his white horse. And if the demons were lost, Jesus would be redundant and they would lose the significance of their savior.
And then they reason there would be no need for a ‘Redeemer’ if there was nothing to save us from. Those who adopt the doctrine of the devil literally, do not seem to be aware that they are in reality polytheists, heathens and idol worshipers.
Christian demonology originated when the Church desired to be the supreme religion and they demonized all of the gods of India, Egypt, Babylon and Greece who had previously been worshiped. In his book “Comparative Mythology” the Sanscrit scholar, Max Muller, adds: “It was a mistake of the early Fathers to treat the heathen gods as demons or evil spirits and we must take care not to commit the same mistake regarding the Hindu gods.”
Demonology and Angelology has been completely distorted by the Church Fathers. The Satan of the New Testament is the personification of an abstract idea and not a physical being. If we deny the personal objective existence of the devil we are committing a sin against the Holy Ghost. Here we have Satan presented as the bedrock of Christianity and Atlas becomes a metaphor for Satan holding up the Christian universe upon his shoulders. And if his arms weaken, they conclude. the apocalypse is upon them.
This is not an attack on true religion or sincere spirituality but a continuing battle with human dogmas. This may seem that we are Don Quixotes because dogmas are only windmills yet these very same dogmas have been the pretext for mass slaughter since the words, “Love Your Enemies” were proclaimed in the Gospel according to Matthew.
Would the House of Cards fall if the ‘Vicars of Christ’ abandoned the dogma of an humanlike devil? Incredible as it may seem the Roman Church bases its doctrine of the God-head of Christ entirely on the Satanism of the fallen archangel. Satan and Jesus are so inextricably entwined that the clergy fear that if the congregation does not believe in the devil they will not believe in Jesus. There would be no Redeemer , no Christianity.
Many have revolted against the dogma of John Calvin whose outrageous dogma was that sin is the necessary cause of the greatest good and this dogma is bolstered by the kind of logic that believes that the crucifixion of Jesus, the God-man was necessary for the redemption of mankind yet it was the most heinous crime ever committed if we take the whole story literally.
The dogma of the devil and redemption seem to be based on two passage in the New Testament: “ For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. (Epistle of John,iii.8 “And there was war in heaven; Michael and his angels fought against the Dragon; and the Dragon fought, and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was there place found any more in heaven. And the great Dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.”
Now let us consider what all the other ancient religions thought about these passages. The first question is whether the term Devil represents an evil god or the dark dual aspect of the sun which appears antagonistic to light.
Kabalists treat darkness as aggressive yet know that it is essential to the vitality of all living things as they would perish if they are exposed to light twenty four hours a day. Night alternating with day is essential to growth and development. There would be no good without evil in human nature as there is always a conflict between ones lower and higher nature and each learn from the other.
End of reincarnation
“He that overcometh, I will make him a pillar (a cosmic power) in the temple of my God, and he shall go out thence (into incarnation) no more” (Rev. iii. 12).
Revelations
Doom and gloomers have taken St. John the Divine literally even though they unaware of the symbolism encoded into the language in which it was written. The Revelation involves a series of events that occur in the spiritual world of the cosmos. In the first part of the account, John sees the scroll with seven seals, each which represents an aspect of vengeance that must come to pass before the last judgement.
Modern theologians are untrained into the mystery of ancient thought and they are unable to contend with the complexities of the Apocalypse, for him this divine message in the mystical writings is unreal and highly questionable.
No book has been subject to more criticism in the New Testament than Revelation.
wisdom saved
When the zealots of the primitive Christian Church sought to Christianize paganism, the initiates of the ‘Wisdom Schools’ answered with a counter offensive to paganize Christianity.
It was a Phyrric victory for the Church won the battle but not the war: With the decline of paganism the initiates transferred their symbols to the newly emerging Christianity and therefore saved the priceless wisdom of the ages.
The Apocalypse shows clearly the subsequent fusing or melting of pagan and Christian symbolism and consequently is undeniable evidence of ancient minds at work in the formation of the Christian Gnostics.
Revelation Chapters 4&5
In the 4th and 5th Chapters St. John describes the throne of God upon which sat the Holy One. “And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God. He who sat upon the throne held in His right hand a book with seven seals which no man in heaven or earth had been worthy to open”.
It is important to understand that the seven seals are allegorical to each of the seven energy centers (chakras) in the body which are related to endocrine system of the human body. With the opening of each chakra, or seal comes revelation and the opportunity to be transformed by the particular energies release.
This is the classic initiation where the whole process is all about the purification of the soul.
The Lamb (pineal gland) took the book from the right hand (right hemisphere of the brain)of Him that sat upon the throne (the higher mind), and the four beasts a bull, a lion, an eagle and a man, originally a cherub or dragon representing Scorpio. And all elders fell down and worshiped God and the Lamb.
In the series of beings claimed by Christian symbolism to form the mysterious crown of Christ, a group of four animals is notable for the important place it holds in sacred art and mystical literature. These celestial animals are not unique to the Bible they are the Adonai of all nations for they are the source of Ezekiel’s Wheel.
The man was originally a Cherubim (Hebrew: fullness of knowledge) . The Cherubim were the fiery serpent/dragons placed at the gate at the Garden of Eden after the fall. Meru, the Abode of the Gods, is only a short distance to Eden. The distance is even smaller between the Hindu Serpent to the Cherubim in the Orphic Mysteries, for both guarded the entrance to the realm of wisdom.
For Buddhists and Hindus the four celestial beings are protectors of mankind and the agents of Karma. The Cherubim and Seraphim, the Asuras and Nagas are the winged globes and fiery wheels of Ezekiel’s Wheel. “ I looked , and behold, a whirlwind, a cloud and fire unfolding it also out of the mist thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And every one had four face and four wings”.
The mysterious composite creature of a bull, an eagle, a lion, and a human, originally a dragon, with four wings symbolized the four basic elements of water, fire, earth, and air which the ancients represented in the form of a cross. In St. John’s Vision, as in Ezekiels, these four living creatures, are the epitome of creation, because of all creatures they are the noblest.
These are the zodiacal symbols of the four seasons. Roman Catholics portrayed these four cosmic angels as the four Evangelists and based them on the Orphic religion Dragon—Raphael; Lion—Michael;—Bull or Ox --Uriel; and Eagle—Gabriel.
The Book of Revelation is filled with complex and imaginative symbolism which can be used to predict an imminent end of the world at almost any zodiacal era. The symbols can be interpreted to represent whatever prophecies may occur at the time when one is living. Unfortunately this is what has been done with Revelation since its inception and conservative Christians believe that the words are God’s true revelation and totally free of error and are awaiting the Apocalypse with anticipation as they think they are the only one who can be saved. With all its macabre imagery Jung saw light at the end of the tunnel in his interpretation of the beginning of the 12th Chapter for he saw the possibility of the divine Christos being born in all of humanity and that all can become an incarnation of the divine.
The 12th Chapter deals with a great wonder appearing in the heavens: a woman clothed with the sun, the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. These are cosmic symbols of the constellation of Virgo of which the Virgin Mary and the Egyptian goddess Isis are the earthly manifestations.
This goddess, the Universal Mother of the Cosmos, is in danger from the red dragon with seven heads and ten horn which threatens to devour her man child about to be delivered. This ancient drama represented souls as gladly abandoning the bliss of heaven for the greater reality of life on earth. Heaven did not create the opportunity for enlightened souls to the challenge of the battle of life on earth.
In Plutarch’s, Osiris and Isis, the evil serpent god Osiris’ brother Set attempts to kill her son Horus, the sun god, at birth and we find the same story in Greek mythology at the birth of Apollo when Typhon tries to kill his mother Leto. The Christian version of the same story shows Herod trying to kill Jesus. In this case Herod is the dragon who eliminated the babes or the innocents which is another way of saying those with the wisdom. The Virgin can be interpreted to signify the ancient wisdom or the womb of the mystery schools and the dragon symbolizes those who would control mankind by destroying the mother of enlightened souls who work unceasingly to liberate the world from dogmatic thinking.
The 13th Chapter describes a great beast which rose out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns. This description is based on the Hindu serpent, Sesha, the infinite, a name for Vishnu, an allegorical abstraction symbolizing time and space. The seven heads of the monster represent the seven Rishis or Cosmic Creative Spirits (ELOHIM). The ten horns refer to the ten primordial signs of the zodiac before there were twelve, this is also where the ten commandments come from.
Dragons and Sun gods are as intertwined as night is to day. Both are regenerators and saviors, the dragon is in a physical sense and the Sun in a spiritual sense. The savior of mankind has to die because he unveils to humanity the secret of the immortal ‘I am’, the Serpent is cursed in Genesis because he said to Eve that she was spiritually immortal.
The tradition of the dragon and the sun is echoed in every part of the world. It originated in secret initiations and became universal through sun worship. In cosmic terms all the serpents and dragons slain by sun gods represent the confused principles in chaos brought to order by the creative powers. In the Egyptian “Book of the Dead,” These principles are called the deceiving serpent. (Verse 54..called sons of rebellion in the air, and when they arrive in the east of the heavens there is a war in heaven and in the entire world.
In India we find the Dragon story is repeated in one of its forms in the battles of Indra and Vritra, referred to in the Vedas as the Demon of Drought, the terrible hot wind. Indra is constantly at war with him; and with the help of thunder and lightening Indra forces Vritra to pour down rain on Earth.
Sun worship crossed over with its Sun-gods into the land of the pharaohs from India. In the Celtic gods of Stonehenge we can recognize the Greek gods of Delphi, Egypt, Mexico, Sumeria and Babylon. The gods and goddesses Marduk and Tiamat, Osiris and Set, Zeus and Typhon, are all one under many names the more recent of which are St. Michael and the Red Dragon, and St.George and his Dragon. Michael is "One as God," and he is one of the Elohim, the fighting angel, he is simply Jehovah
Hence the incessant fights of Indra, god of the Firmament, with the Asuras--downgraded from high gods to cosmic demons; and with Vritri; the battles fought between stars and constellations, between moon and planets and later on incarnated as kings and mortals. There is also the war in heaven of Michael and his host of angels against the Dragon, Lucifer, when a third of the stars of a rebellious host was hurled into space and its place was found no more in heaven. This myth can be traced to one of the oldest myths of the Aryans
666
The number 666 is another interesting example of confusion over sacred texts. The number of the beast is now seen as the number of the antichrist but that was not what the writers of the Kabala intended. Once again the New Testament has incorporated ancient texts which were distorted by early the early Church Father, Irenaeus. The force of the number 666 is expressed by the Chinese in the first hexagram of the I Ching oracle.
The Chinese Dragon and the Beast in Revelation have the same origin according to Wilhelm’s commentary,” the dragon of the electrically charged dynamic force that manifests itself in the thunderstorm. John Michel, the well respected British author of City of Revelation, notes that the Roman Church tried to destroy the science of the Gnostics who encouraged their students to develop their sensitivity, and to perceive for themselves the interaction of cosmic forces.
The first beast, marked with a deadly wound rises up out of the sea, which in the language of mysticism signifies the unconscious mind. The beast rises from the sea to begin the period of his reign as the god of the new age He is followed by another.
4 beasts, sphinx
Conventional wisdom tells us that famous quartet, the four horsemen of the Apocalypse bring pestilence, war, famine and death upon the earth. Once again we have been given a doomsday interpretation of events that originally signified the four main divisions of human life. When Oedipus hears about the terrifying Sphinx he is determined to solve the riddle.
“What creature,” the Sphinx asked him, “goes on our feet in the morning, on two at midday, and three in the evening? “Man,” answered Oedipus.
The answer saved his life and the Sphinx killed herself. When are we going to realize that understanding the truth of ancient wisdom is a life and death matter. It is time for us to be taught the way to understand the mysteries of life which are encoded in our myths and religions.
The divine spirit of God wheels in vast circles in the heavens knowing that all has being is expanding to encounter other being. This immortal spirit descends into human form and pervades the whole body and becomes Christ consciousness. Every one can become a Buddha or a Christ. And so throughout eons of time every zodiacal age sends the divine spirit in human form. We are now entering the Age of Aquarius and it is time to drink the water of wisdom flowing from his chalice.
In the 19th and 20th chapter of Revelation sets forth the preparation that mystical sacrament called the marriage of the Lamb. The bride is the initiate who unites with his own spiritual source. The heavens opened once more and St. John saw a white horse, and the rider, the illuminated mind which sat upon it was called Faithful and True. This reflects the 10th incarnation of Vishnu mirrored in Revelation 19:11-14, " I saw heaven opened and beheld a white horse and He sat upon him and was called faithful and true, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crown; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name was called the word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his vesture and on his high horse a name written, King of Kings, and Lord of Lords“... It is the grandest of all the symbolic pictures of the powerful triumphant Christ, and much loved by all the enlightened of the medieval copies of the Apocalypse."
Upon the plains of heaven was fought the mystical Armageddon of the light and dark forces of the mind.
The forces of evil under the Persian Ahriman fought the forces of good under Ahura Mazda. Armageddon represent the last struggle between the worldly self and the spiritual self before they become as one
The Kalki Avatar
The Vishnu Puranas, written thousands of years ago, predicted that the god Vishnu would return again riding Kalki, the white horse, the symbol of the evil in the age of the Kali Yuga which we are now in. In his first form as the half-fish, half-man Vishnu helped Noah and the survivors of the Great Atlantean Flood. A statue of Vishnu can be seen today in the temple of Rama, in southern India, riding a white horse waving His sword of destruction while holding in his other hands a discuss made up of rings representing the great ages. Sri Satya Sai Baba is this incarnation of Vishnu living in India today doing exactly what was predicted so long ago.
The Golden Age referred to in myths around the world describe a paradise of free communion with the forces of the gods, i.e. the zodiacal signs, in the cosmos.
In Jewish myth it is the primeval paradise, of the Garden of Eden. The Greeks envisioned the Golden Age as the age of Chronus or Saturn; it was a time of human and natural perfection without cares or labor, and where death is no more to be feared than sleep.
The ancient Egyptians lived in the Golden Age of Osiris, who revealed the arts of civilization to his subjects. The Golden Age is repeated in following high epochs, such as the time of Solomon and his Temple and the reign of Arthur and his twelve knights of the zodiac in Camelot, or the lovely image of Orpheus playing his lyre to charm the beasts just as Kristna played his flute some five thousand years ago, Sai Baba gives unconditional love today.
THE OCCULT
"Occult" means "hidden," and refers to ancient knowledge and tradition forced into hiding by meddlesome Christians. Anything not in the Bible is considered Evil, must be repressed, and becomes "occult." 2,000 years of Christian censorship have tried, but failed to repress older beliefs and the roots of Christianity itself.
The Christian Satan is vastly different than the original Hebrew "satan," an "obstructing angel," that is short-lived and generic. Babylonian influences solidified this entity into a specific, evil being, and now, Christianity has elevated the Devil to an equal footing with God. Bible belt teenagers becoming 'Satanists' and going on killing sprees are the obvious products of a fundamentalist environment; borne of parents who see evil everywhere, from Harry Potter books to Tinky Winky, these kids rebel in the easiest way: becoming what their parents most fear and obsess over. They do it by claiming belief in a "religion" that owes its very existence to Christianity. (And yes, Anton Lavey).
The Christian obsession with the Devil and witchcraft actually fosters and propagates what they try so hard to repress.
Fundamentalist abhorrence of evil is really a lack of faith, because God created Evil:
[Isa 45:7 KJV] I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Trying to avoid the issue, newer translations change "evil" to "woe," or "calamity," but the Hebrew word in the original is "Ra," which translates into "Evil."
As Christianity took over Europe, attempts to suppress Pagan holy day celebrations met fierce resistance. Their solution was to absorb these holidays, purloin them, and make them into Christian holidays.
Christians object to Halloween, because it is of Pagan origin (Samhain). To be consistent, then, they should also reject Christmas (Yule), Easter (Ostara), and Pentecost (Lugnasað), also Pagan holidays co-opted by Christians in an attempt to erase the true origins.
They should also reject the Resurrection (Pagan) and the transubstantiation of bread and wine into blood and flesh (Pagan). Christian demons and devils are no different than Buddhist, or even Hindu ones (Not as colorful though...) Christian God-forms (Father, Son, & Holy Ghost, the Devil) are just as "true" or "false" as any other religions'.
Christians believe that Pagans worship the Earth, and say it is sin to worship the created, instead of worshiping the Creator. This confused notion of separating creator and created is particularly vain, and is used by Christians to justify trashing the land.
Thousands of people were crucified in Judea during Roman times. By concentrating on the suffering of Jesus, the Gospels convey the impression that he was a rare victim of this brutal form of Roman execution.
Leviticus has dire warnings against even touching the skin of pigs-doesn't this imperil the souls of Christian football players?
If one can see through to the underlying metaphor (or parable), and glean the good from scripture, fine. But justifying intolerance with dogmatic fixation on the literal inerrancy of every line in the book leads to simplistic conclusions, and often contradictory ones.
Fundamentalists are obsessed with making the world clear cut and orderly. Subtlety or complexity upsets and confuses them. Alternate points of view, or attitudes of flexibility or openness drive them crazy. Possessed by their own fear of destabilization, they are driven to impose their will on others. They even view their inflexibility as a virtue. Their fear and mistrust feeds on itself, and grows exponentially.
These people to the left are protesting against homosexuality. They are pretending that their bigotry has some sort of spiritual component or basis. Their actions prove, of course, that they are quite removed from anything spiritual. Their myopia makes it impossible for them to understand that sexuality is not something chosen, like one chooses a shirt, or a religion. Click here to learn more about these hate-drunk zealots.
It has been said that the fundamentalist mind is like concrete; all mixed up and permanently set.
In nature, every creature is born of female (except seahorses, of course), but the Garden of Eden story changes that. A male God creates Adam, the first man, and then Eve is "born" from Adam's rib, as an afterthought. Eve is then held responsible for the downfall of the perfect Man.
In fact, Genesis 1:27, which is earlier than the rib story (Gen 2:21), says: "He created them, male and female he created them." Another way of looking at Eve's placement in creation is that every created thing was more complex and "evolved" than the one preceding it, and so Eve was the ultimate and most perfect thing created.
Yet another approach is brought out that all humanity is descended from Adam, giving everyone a common ancestor, and defusing attempts to place one people over another as "superior."
After Eve colludes with the snake, and everyone passes the buck, the snake bites the dust. Eve's role in this story has been used to justify oppressive attitudes towards women, and nature, especially within parts of the Christian tradition.
The Evolution of Creation
'Creationists' insist that when evolution is taught in schools it should be preceded with the disclaimer that 'It is only a theory.'
Perhaps when teaching 'creation science,' that class should be preceded with the disclaimer:'The Bible consists entirely of mythology, incomplete history, and unprovable claims.' Christian doctrine cannot be proven - faith is NOT proof. Nor is the fact that it is written in black and white proof.
The fact of biological evolution is so much more mystical and awe inspiring than the 6 day fundamentalist metaphor, it's hard to believe they can disassociate their abbreviated, magical/miraculous version of life's beginnings from observed reality. This refusal to adapt the facts into their belief system destroys their credibility almost more than anything else they do.
Genesis says the world was created in six days. It also says that Adam lived 930 years (Gen 5:5), and that Noah was 600 years old when the flood happened (Gen 7:6). We can take these figures literally, believing that "people just lived longer in those days," or if we have a shred of intelligence or honesty, we can surmise that Biblical time reckoning is on a metaphoric scale. Of course, this allows Genesis to agree with observed evolution.
"But do not ignore this one fact beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day." (2 Peter 3:8)
ALL of the universe is one, flowing, fractal mind-form - we call it God, Goddess, G-D, Brahman, Allah, Buddhahood, Ahura-Mazda, El-Shaddai, Jah, Manitou, Tao, math, language, chemistry, history, religion, humor, evolution, and infinitely more. It is "center everywhere, circumference nowhere -" we are the center of the universe, because it is infinite. And we are also an insignificant speck, a bubble on the cosmic oceans.
Time is a human invention, based on the periodicity of day and night, the seasons, and our own mortality. But in the context of infinity, time is meaningless. Evolution/Creation is never/always finished.
YOU ARE THE CROWN OF CREATION
The Structure of the Universe
The fact that fundamentalists of every stripe, Catholic, Protestant, Mormon, Baptist, Muslim, etc., all claim that they and only they are going to heaven - brings down the whole house of cards. How could they all be right? They are all equally convinced, equally fooled, and equally brainwashed. (The Jews believe that theirs is not necessarily the only way to Heaven).
They say: "Read the Bible with an open mind" which really means "Read the Bible with your mind shut off-"
Why attack Christianity? Ask all of the people they have attacked. Look at their arrogant dismissal of all other beliefs. Look at their bad taste bumper stickers that say: "Christians aren't perfect; they're just forgiven." (The implication here is that they are nearly perfect; still better than nonbelievers. They have conveniently absolved themselves of sin, speaking in behalf of their imaginary savior.)
Christians are the only religion that scrawls the sacred name of their God on toilet stalls, tacks it to telephone poles, or lets if fall into gutters.
The crass insensitivity of Fundamentalist zealots is revealed in their opportunism - their habit of targeting people in grief or difficulty. One approached a friend's mother after he broke his neck, hinting that her resistance to Christianity was the cause.
The notion that a pack of irrational nonsense would have prevented a car accident, or that it would cure a broken neck is annoying enough; but the egotism of someone trying to get another 'notch on their gun' at such a sensitive time is appalling.
The "Message," as they call it, that they want to tell everyone about, is nothing new. Everyone has heard it. To assume out of hand that other's religion is error, and that they come with the correct answer, is insulting and only makes the "messenger" look stupid.
Of course, some genuinely want to help the world, and actually do. There's nothing wrong with that. But one thing leads to another, and before you know it, you've got Shiite Muslims, or Calvinists, or the Promise Keepers.
They claim it is 'compassion' that drives them to proselytize; but it is not. Nagging doubt presses them to convert others, for when others fall in line, the Christian mythos gets another 'yes' vote, so it must be right.
Callous, xenophobic, and lacking experience of the larger world, fundamentalists see the devil's hoof prints everywhere, in anything outside of their sheltered, one-dimensional lifestyle.
Fundamentalists personify the 'Ugly Americans.' (Elsewhere in the world, United States citizens have a reputation for being loud, insensitive, pushy, infantile, and myopic; hence "Ugly Americans.") Fundies achieve this within our own borders, with the same selfish oblivion to the experience of others.
Like the loudmouthed polyester-clad boor in Italy, the Fundie assumes that everyone speaks his language, and that they're just pretending not to. If he's just loud enough, and pushy enough, 'these half-wits will get the point.' The natives shudder and avert their eyes in disgust. Believe it or not, different people and cultures can have a different experience of the world than the one in Tulsa, or Dade City.
The fundamentalist inability to appreciate the mystical side of their religion is most to be pitied. Were they able to see more deeply, they would become more flexible, and healthy.
Fundamentalism is Anti-God
The contradictions that exist in Bible religion are at the core of its mysticism. Contemplating the Trinity or the Binding of Isaac is to contemplate contradiction, which opens the mind to mystery. How can God be all-powerful, creating distant galaxies, and also be active in human history, concerned about our every thought? The mystics of Bible religion freely admit that there are ambiguities and impossibilities in the Bible; they are able to use these to get closer to the Eternal One
The mystics don't carry signs that say "God Hates Fags," though, because they know better. Only literalists, with their limited learning and understanding, attempt the hopeless task of making every word stand up to modern rational scrutiny (and their own stunted agendas). This is destroying the bibles mythology and truth, ripping the mystery out of it and turning it into pre-fab fast food. Many people HATE religion, because of its various ugly failings. What do they turn to? Consumer Culture. Tragic, no?
Most religions share similar principles and basic laws; the differences in the outward appearances of different belief systems are like different languages, or dialects.
Spiritually-directed people employ their religion to bring them closer to Source, or God; while Ego-driven people use their religion for their power hunger, trying to convert everyone around them. Mysticism is where all religions become alike, and where the differences disappear. The anti-intellectualism of fundamentalism makes mysticism impossible.
Christian Ayatollahs whip their sheep into frenzies by scapegoating and playing on their fears. Simplistic solutions ignore the life-realities of people not in the cult. Spoon-feeding selected propaganda to their flocks, Mullah-Pastors transmit the 'word-' at least their version of it.
The translators and compilers of the Bible left out many things crucial to Jesus' message, because his message was love and did not allow for a corrupt 'religious' bureaucracy.
Some ways Christianity differs from it's mother religion, Judaism
Christianity focuses on man, while it's mother religion, Judaism, focuses more on God. Cynically, doubting our ability to improve, Christianity dwells on the corruption in humanity, and avoidance of Hell. Judaism, the religion that Christianity evolved out of, puts God and Torah (the Bible) at the center, trusting and cultivating our potential to come near.
Christianity puts intermediaries (Jesus, Saints, Popes, Bishops, Priests, etc.) between people and God; Judaism and other Easter religions allows a direct connection. Judaism and other eastern religions do not claim to be the only way to get close to God, while Christianity does. Christianity is uncomfortable with learning and an intellectual approach; Judaism sees scholarship as a core element of spirituality.

"In order to justify their behavior, they turn their theories into dogmas, their bylaws into First Principles, their political bosses into Gods and all those who disagree with them into incarnate devils. This idolatrous transformation of the relative into the Absolute and the all too human into the Divine, makes it possible for them to indulge their ugliest passions with a clear conscience and in the certainty that they are working for the Highest Good.

Since logic, reason, and historical precision play no part in Christianity, unfortunately, these disciplines are useless in discussions with Christians.
As is clearly demonstrated in a multitude of places, including the Jesus Seminar, the "words of Jesus" in the New Testament are fabricated, and cannot be attributed to the actual person of Yeshua ben Nazaret, and cannot accurately be called "The Truth." Overwrought "faith" does not change history, and quoting the book of John is meaningless in light of historical fact.
Creationism = Cretinism

It is not popular, and occurs only in older or encyclopedic volumes.)
"Organized Christianity has probably done more to retard the ideals that were its founder's than any other agency in the world." - Richard Le Gallienne (Peter)
"Every judgment teeters on the brink of error. To claim absolute knowledge is to become monstrous.
Knowledge is an unending adventure at the edge of uncertainty." Frank Herbert, Dune 1965
